A wonderful stay in a perfectly located

The breakfast room was light and spacious and there was an excellent choice .The location of the hotel is excellent - very short distance to the sea and bars and restaurants.Our room was very airy and very well equipped.Extrenely helpful and welcoming staff made for a wonderful stay .

I think the hotel has the potential to be nice, but we were disappointed in many aspects of our stay.

The building exterior is beautiful and in close proximity to the beach.

They claimed the room was a sea view, but this was barely the case. The room was very small for our family. I had requested a crib for the room prior to our arrival, which was not there when we arrived and had to be brought in and assembled later. The air conditioner in our room was broken and they were unable to fix it so we had to switch rooms very late at night. The music from a neighboring venue was incredibly loud and reverberated off the building all night, making is very difficult to sleep. We chose this hotel under the impression that we would have direct beach access and the appropriate accommodations to visit the beach (for example, beach towels), but instead we were sent to a beach club several blocks away from the hotel and given a voucher for entry as a “special favor.” I feel the hotel markets itself as a beachside hotel but is not actually equipped as one.

Fine for a last-minute booking...

This hotel has two main advantages: it's close to the sea and seems always has some free rooms, which can make this hotel the only option, if you want to book something in this town in the last minute and have an average budget. At first, being misled by the room description on booking, we were given a room in the basement with no view at all, but after pointing out to this inaccuracy in description, the hotel staff offered us an upgrade to the sea view next day without additional fee, which was nice from their side. In general, the hotel staff tried to do the best to satisfy the guests' wishes, but it wasn't always possible, because many issues mentioned below required attention and financial input from the side of the hotel owner. Rooms were cleaned well, but often only late in the afternoon due to lack of personal. The center location of the hotel can be also considered as an advantage, particularly if you like street markets, which were organized quite often next to the hotel, however during these hours the hotel was difficult to access by car because of blocked streets.

First of all, as it was already said in other reviews, the hotel definitely doesn't correspond to the claimed 4 stars. Maybe it did in the past, but not now. The furniture in the bathrooms is quite dilapidated: cracked toilette seats, broken door in the douche cabin, besides in some bathrooms the cabin is extremely small, so that you can not only barely move inside but also hardly come in without bumping yourself against the narrow door. The room descriptions are inaccurate: e.g. almost all rooms claim to have a kettle set, but in two rooms we stayed, we didn't find any; ground floor for some rooms means actually basement and the claimed mountain view can't be seen from there except perhaps with a long periscope. There was neither corkscrew nor bottle opener nor glasses or cups (except plastic ones in the bathroom). You need to ask all this at the reception, as well as power socket adapters, because the only euro-standard socket is available in the bathroom. The hotel doesn't have balconies and there is nothing foreseen to dry your towels after the beach (like a clothes dryer rack). Besides own small parking lot, the hotel offers an underground garage, which could be considered as an advantage, if we didn't damaged our car against the bottom railing of the garage door, which broke from time to time but didn't get repaired in a proper way.

Everyone very kind and friendly, location is great just opposite the sea and in the center square surrounded by bars , restaurant and shops Lots of choices in the breakfast buffet ( the cakes always fresh and delicious) Beautiful view from the window of our room we could see the mountain and the sea also

La struttura esterna è meravigliosa nel suo gioco marmoreo di bianco e nero ed il personale educato e molto gentile. Il nostro terrazzo aveva un affaccio molto bello.

Le camere (mi riferisco alla nostra) era un sottotetto molto basso con finestre di difficile accesso da cui non era possibile vedere il mare in maniera diretta. La sensazione nel suo complesso era un po’ claustrofobica. Arredi di bassa qualità e mal tenuti, rifiniture scarse e servizi igienici datati. Balcone bellissimo ma mal tenuto. Nell’ insieme certo non all’altezza delle quattro stelle e del prezzo richiesto.
