The staff was very helpful and polite. The location is very good. Close to beach and city centre. Air conditioning in the room was great (not sure how often it gets cleaned).

It’s very worn down . Could really need a caring hand. Rooms are old, bathroom old and worn down. It’s a pity because the outside and the reception is nice but the rooms and roof terrace in bad shape. Price is too expensive for how the room looks. We had mold on the walls.

Good standard hotel next to the beach with a great breakfast!

Myself and my partner really enjoyed our three night stay in hotel Scandinavia. It is a standard mid-level hotel and is more than adequate to stay for a holiday. The room was really clean and a good, spacious size with a good shower. There was a tv in the room with multiple channels, air con and a standard mattress (not the most comfy in the world but absolutely fine for a few days). Overall everything that you need for a few days when you are out most of the time anyway. Overall the hotel was kept really clean and our room was cleaned daily. A big bonus of this hotel is the breakfast buffet every morning - they have a lot of different options really nice croissants, bread, meat, cheese, fruit, cereal, coffee etc and you can help yourself to as much as you want. Really good quality and the breakfast staff are super nice ! Lastly, the location is amazing only a couple of mins from the beach and also just a few minutes from most of the restaurants/bars/life in the town centre. We were really happy with our stay !

Besides the lady at the check in counter being friendly, we don’t have anything positive at all to say about this place.

Not only can only one person at a time fit into the elevator, the lobby is beyond outdated and needs a serious renovation. It’s dark, dumpy & extremely uninviting. There is no central air and the smell of a stale, musky aroma fills the room. The bedroom itself is a whole other story. You get a makeshift frame as a bed with 2 single foam like mattresses that are a few inches thick. There is only a fitted and top sheet. No duvet. We woke up very sore and freezing. Highly not recommended. It’s disgusting they can even charge anything for a place that doesn’t even deserve a one star.

Very close to the beach!

The best thing about Hotel Scandinavia is the location. You're just a couple of minutes from the beach! Be informed that the beaches are private and charge a daily fee. The hotel does not any deal with the beaches for reduced fees for its customers. We love Marina di Massa, and this was our second travel there. So wanted to try this hotel and we mainly used our room to sleep. The rooms are small but comfortable.

Wireless internet was not good. Lots of connection failures, so we had to deplete our own 4G quotas.

Hotel a breve distanza dal mare, la ns camera era vista mare. Arrivati in bici dalla stazione con ciclabile. Bici al sicuro all'interno. Staff molto gentile. Abbiamo cenato in albergo, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Posizione eccellente vicino al mare la signorina della reception molto gentile e disponibile a tutte le informazioni il cane è stato accolto serenamente

Va tutto bene ma al menù che era buono avrei aggiunto la scelta non dei due primi ma almeno di tre o quattro così anche per i secondi dolci molto buoni per quanto riguarda il buffet della colazione avrei messo anche le creme

l'Hotel necessiterebbe di qualche lavoro di ristrutturazione, il bagno é un po' datato e abbiamo avuto un problema con il letto, sono tutti aspetti che non hanno assolutamente intralciato il soggiorno, ma potrebbe acquistare ancora più valore
