Lovely hotel, just a 5 minute walk down to the old town, shops and pretty yacht basin. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was modern, stylish, spotlessly clean, with lots of space and a large comfortable bed. We had a sheltered sitting area outside which was nice after a long drive. The continental breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. On site parking was right outside the room and we even had a sign with our name on it showing where to park. It was a lovely, comfortable stay and we will definitely stay here again.

Quiet location with on road parking. We had an XL spacious room with sofa and room to relax. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast at reasonable price

The location. It was an easy walk into the historic town centre and very quiet. Safe car parking. A lovely breakfast for 13 euros. Friendly hosts.
Hotel Monet was halfway up a steep slope. This didn’t worry us.

Room size was good and it was clean. The location was close to the center of town for dinner, etc. The staff was always very helpful. We had one of the 5 or 6 parking spaces available. We jumped on the option for a parking space, don't remember if we paid for it. We were able to walk down into town for dinner, roughly a 10 or 15 minute walk. to most restaurants. We didn't mind the uphill walk back, but it might be steep for some people. Breakfast charge was 13.95 euros per day. The breakfast provided basics to include Croissants, cheese, ham, fruit cocktail, cheese and Ham. No eggs or other meat were available. The facility is privately owned by a nice, helpful couple.
We had number room 12. The room has only a sliding door and no windows or air conditioning. Therefore we had no ventilation other than the fan in the bathroom. We did not feel comfortable leaving the sliding door open/unlocked at night. We compensated by using a fan in the room which we left on all night. The second issue was ants. they showed up in the bathroom for our last three nights.
