A short stay in Normandy

We made wonderful memories while staying at La Liniere. The friendly host welcomed us to his tastefully decorated historic home and made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. He served us a delicious and satisfying breakfast every morning in a beautiful dinning room. We could enjoy a beautiful view of the area from the upstairs windows as the house is located on a slight hill. The port of Honfleur and the picturesque downtown are about 10 minutes by foot. The town center offers many lively places to try local cuisine. During our stay, we visited several towns and villages in the area.

Lovely stay in a beautiful home

We were greeted warmly by our host and felt at home. The house is totally charming and filled with art and curiosities and is truly beautiful. Each morning we had a wonderful and elegant breakfast cooked and served by our host. The downtown area of Honfleur was an easy 10 minute walk. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property is beautiful and maintained at the highest of standards. The host is so lovely! The breakfast wonderful and the accommodations also wonderful and immaculate. It’s a short walk into the bustling town. It was an amazing respite!

It’s a very beautiful house with ornate furnishings. The owner went out of his way to make sure I had everything I wanted. The breakfasts were amazing with all his guests sat round one big table giving you the chance chat to each other. He even allowed me to park my motorbike in his garage. Superb host nothing to complain about and I would definitely recommend the hotel. Oh and it was very quiet too, the only thing you can hear are the birds.

Nothing to do with the hotel or the owner, but if you are a bit unfit it’s a bit of a steep climb up the hill to get to the property especially on hot days.

Very pleasant stay. Honfleur is beautiful.

La Liniere is a french chateau style themed B & B, Christophe the owner takes delight in antiques as shows in the house. Christophe is a fabulous and friendly host and provided us every day with a good breakfast of breads, cheeses, fruits, jams, coffee or teas, eggs were available if required. Our room was replenished with water bottles every day and toiletries. Parking at the property was excellent. No complaints regarding comfort and friendliness.

House was up a hill, which is ok but when the weather is very very hot it was hard work. May be a problem to less abled.

Superb

The hotel is ideally situated, from the dining room upstairs the view on the sea is very pretty. The hotel is absolutely charming, it is actually a "maison de maître" exquisitely decorated with an eclectic collection of art objects. The owner himself is also very charming and helpful, very friendly and flexible. The breakfast was "wow", we were served like queens, and it was plenty and delicious. Highly recommended!

Hach, was war das schön.....

Eine sehr schöne, individuelle Unterkunft. Der Vermieter spricht gut und gerne deutsch und ist super, super nett. Die Lage ist ein Traum. Wir schauten vom Bett auf Obstbäume und hörten Nachts die Eule. Das Frühstück war individuell und reichhaltig. Das Bad war etwas gewöhunungsbedürftig, aber es handelt sich hier um ein sehr altes Haus, was diese Atmosphäre auch absolut positiv rüberbringt. Also alles in Ordnung.
