Excellent, high-value option for a trip to Zermatt

The Bolero Apartments building is only 350m from the main goldola, and 500m from the main village. The terrain was super easy to walk everywhere. Even the train station was only a 15-minute walk away. For 5 guys, we booked a 3-bedroom unit with 2 single beds in each and a spacious, open-concept common area with a kitchen and living room. We loved having access to a sauna every day

The steam room was not operational during our visit. Also, the 'hot tub' could not reach more than lukewarm.

Absolutely ideal place to stay for ski vacation

- Several minutes uphill walk to the ski lift - if you come back by slope number 50, it’s again several minutes downhill walk - ski room on ground floor - very quiet

Good value for money, we will be back!

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) in an apartment with one bedroom + extra beds in the living room. The apartment was in good condition and fully met our needs. We had some issues with getting the stove to work properly, and when we contacted the owners they responded very quickly and brought a technician, and offered us the opportunity to use the kitchen in another apartment for cooking. We enjoyed using the spa (jacuzzi and sauna) in the evenings.

The apartment was very warm and we were not able to lower the heating. Next time we will wear shorts indoors rather than ski gear! :) Everything else worked very well.

very nice place in Zermatt

The building is located nearby to a ski lift, not far from the center of the village, nor from shops, all easily and conveniently nearby. The apartment itself is superb, it has all that you need and if it does not have any particular item, you can ask for it (we asked for a raclette set). The building has a ski room downstairs. The place is quite quiet, even though you can hear some specific noises from other apartments (chairs being dragged on a floor, etc.). There is also a person there in the afternoon for an hour to discuss, if needed. Overall, good value for the (nothing is really cheap in Zermatt).

Great space and location. Well stocked kitchen and ample room for 5 people - we had a great time.

Good amount of space - very well equipped kitchen and the host was very responsive. There is also a great ski locker room below though we ended up using the ski depot at the chairlift. The apartment is very close to the main ski lift up to matterhorn paradise as well as walking distance to the center.

The apartment is situated between 2 bus stops and is equally far from both making it a little tricky to get to without shuttle on the first and last day.

Great, no nonsense, clean apartments

Apartments were clean and spacious enough. The kitchen was good and made it easy to cook food to save money as restaurants are very expensive in Switzerland. Plenty of cooking utensils and I was glad they kept previous users oil and spices within the cupboards. Beds were clean, bathroom had good pressure, no complaints for me as a solo traveller. Will happily stay here again.

Not a dislike as I didn't have any issues - but should be noted that reception hours are limited so make sure you have local data to be able to contact the owners.

Extraordinary Pleasant

This Appartment made my stay 100% more enjoyable. Sparkling clean, modern high tech equipments, luckily had a view of Matternhorn, Amazing Location. (Just bring toilette paper, cooking spices & oil, shower gel+shampoo) I will return & recommend everyone to stay here. Thanks for making this a good memory 💙💚

Excellent value for money

Spacious, modern, fully equipped kitchen, clean, nice view of Matterhorn from the balcony, close to the Matterhorn gondola station, comfortable beds. I personally enjoy much more the twin beds rather than a big king bed. Generous balcony with chairs and table. The lovely rabbits playing in front of the balcony.

Great

Second time staying in bolero apartments (studio) and nothing to complain about. Great modern studio with nice little area outside with a bit of Matterhorn to see. Never seen the host as key to the room was ready and waiting in the box. Everything clean and looks new. Only thing check out time a bit harsh 9am ( never asked maybe could later). Price pretty good for Zermatt.

Excellent stay

Big enough unit (and aesthetic as well) for family of 3, well equipped kitchen and a great balcony.

The place was little uphill from the station and we didn't know we can take taxis. It was a task moving the luggages up. Paid hotel pickup would make life easier.

Fabulous

Location close to the Matterhorn cable car station, cleanliness, large patio with tables and sun chairs, fully equipped and modern kitchen, comfy mattresses, generous space, quiet area , had a very good sleep. Good communication with the host via booking.com. I really appreciate the opportunity to check-in earlier.

A Great place

Zermatt is compact so location was good,including a few bars away from the busy centre.Amazing how many facilites of tourist interest within 20 minute walk.Apartment is clean and modern.washing machine/dryer a boom.

Entrance was dirty only place i found dirt,except for the many individual building sites going on.I think some work had been done the day before.The early summer must be the construction season helecopters every where transporting building supplies.Dont expect to self cater.Although early summer in Zermatt is there time to reset, with places not open its got plenty to offer .

Everything I liked! The apartment was spacious, warm and clean, kitchen great for cooking. And the view of The Matterhorn was not expected. Laundry a great asset doiwnstairs too.

Kitchen tap needed a new washer - that was the only small problem.

Everything, it's exceptional for every taste! - Location : Near the glacier paradise cable cars, 10-12 min walk from the train station. beautiful view. very quiet - Amenities: it has everything, even a dish washer, big refrigerator with freezer, oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, bath tub. great shower with warm water always working. - the kitchen is just perfect 👌👌 - Very very clean. - perfect lighting inside the apartment - lots of electricity sockets everywhere - very big size, perfect balcony with a table and chairs. - Nice and welcoming staff - laundry and dryer available downstairs. - and the price is very affordable

Only one roll of toilet paper was provided for two people over 8 days. No hand soap in the bathroom or kitchen. Only one garbage bag provided for two people over 8 days. They actually made us go buy more supplies! Unacceptable for how long we stayed and how much we laid. Kitchen had inadequate supplies (only 1 pot, 1 pan, no microwave).

reception not alway attended between 17.00 and 18.00. But we could phone them. Whirlpool didn't seem to be working properly.

A very studio I was given and the host was very kind.

The reception is open only from 4 to 6,5 pm. This is clearly informed by email when made the booking.

On arrival day I went to Zermatt earlier at 14pm instead of 4pm and onwards. So I waited outside a bit then I went to town with my big bag on my shoulder until their opening hours. At the same time I know that this nothing has to do with them as they clearly informed me before I travel to their location about their opening hours.
