Wonderful stay in comfort and style

The styling was beautiful and it had all the facilities we needed. Very comfortable bed too. It was in a quiet street and well located.

Relaxing and enjoyable.

Apartment was charming, characterful but with all modern amenities. Very comfortable bed, kitchen had everything required for our stay and appreciated the coffee pods. Great location with access to areas of interest and relaxed eating. A bonus to be within easy reach of train station.

Our only issue was that we didn’t have WiFi working for most of the week. Host tried to sort (and it was beyond their control I believe - a technical issue with the network) but it was a huge pain to have to go out for coffee to do social media posts.

Delightful flat in central Tours

Lovely very well equipped flat close to the centre, yet quiet. Plenty of choice of eating options nearby.

As it is in the old part of Tours the roads are narrow and often one way so driving there is a challenge!! We always found somewhere to park close by and you just pay from 9 to 6.30 ( with 2 hours free at lunchtime!).

Great location and very comfortable

The apartment was fabulous. The host was friendly and met me on time and explained all the features. He also had a map and suggested places to go and shops to visit. The location is great and easy to get to by foot from the train station. It is close to the old town and its many sights and restaurants. The facilities were very clean, the lounge was good and the bed was comfortable. The swing in the lounge room was great. I would love to stay there again.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Old Town

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Old Town. Great location close to cafes and shops. Christophe met us at checkin and gave us extensive information on use of appliances in apartment. Very responsive and helpful with anything we needed including information on sightseeing. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Easy to get there by train. Everything provided. Couldn't think of anything you needed.If you are unlucky to be there in a heatwave you may find it a bit warm at night as there is only a fan, however we didn't experience this. Thank you we really enjoyed our stay in Tours.

Fantastic apartment in the old centre of Tours

Very well-equipped apartment, with thoughtful additions like olive oil, teas, and different sorts of pepper and homemade vinegar.

The swing in the sitting room was a surprise, and it would be helpful if it could be hooked out of the way.

Fantastic place for a longer stay

Fully equipped; modern feeling in a vibrant area of town while also strategically located 8 min walk from Tain station and the roads to the main attractions in the Loire Valley. We never had any issue finding a free parking spot but it may be trickier in the summer. Host were approachable and helpful. Would come back without hesitation.

The water pressure in the shower and sink is very low.

Exceptional

Communication with the owner in the lead up to our stay was good. He met us at exactly the appointed time. He was very helpful and speaks excellent English. The apartment is about 10-12 minutes walk from Tours train station so very convenient for transport up and down the Loire Valley. The apartment itself was very spacious and it has the added benefit of English language TV and Netflix. The kitchen was so well appointed. It has a lot of plates and bowls and cutlery. The washing machine worked perfectly, as did the dishwasher. We enjoyed having so much space. Other people live in different apartments in the complex but they has no impact on us. The apartment is on the ground floor and street facing at the front but there are heavy curtains which give privacy at night. We did not hear any noise from the apartment above. It is located in a very quiet street in what we would describe as the quieter part of Tours. There are plenty of restaurants within a short walk, but far enough away not to have negative noise impacts. The large restaurant area in the old part of Tours is about 10-15 minutes walk. Not only was the apartment great but Tours has quite a lot to offer as well.

It was well located. Had good facilities, cooking equipment etc. Very clean and comfortable, with efficient use of the space. Nice mixture of new facilities - ie bathroom and kitchen - and old style of the apartment.

The introduction by the owner, Christophe, who kindly secured a carpark for us and showed us through the apartment on arrival. The apartment was beautifully fitted out with everything you could need, including a very well stocked kitchen.. It even had a nice shared rear garden space, but it was too cold when we visited to enjoy! The owner has very good taste in decorating, and the swing in the livingroom area was fun, and was not in the way at all. It was very easy accessing the aparrment too, being located on the ground floor.

There was very limited parking on the street, and short term paid parking in surrounding streets, until about 5-6pm, then it was free I think..

Amazing

We loved everything about our host Geraldine and our apartment. The location is spot on, the deco is modern but all old features are preserved. We will be back in the summer when hopefully all the restaurants, bars, museums ... are open x well done to Geraldine and Christophe

Would go back without hesitation but without a car

Fantastic location and great apartment - spotless clean and quirky little outside courtyard area

Booking.com described it as having parking but it doesn’t and parking meters need regular payments and cost 25 euros for 3 hours so parking was a major issue but if you not in a car location is very central and main centre on doorstep
