Cosy and beautiful room with friendly and responsive host

The host is super friendly who waited for our arrival and showed us where to go. They also responded to us on service issues.

The apartment is two floors up without escalator but good for a little exercise :) Do make sure the heater tank has enough hot water before shower.

Excellent central location - just beware of the 51 steps and the height restrictions!

Excellent central location & liked the electric shutters. Despite having to park a few hundred metres away - it was, at least, free.

The cushions on the sofabed were constantly sliding out, making it somewhat uncomfortable and we were forever pushing them back into position. The restricted height in a number of areas was a bit of a drawback - we both hit our heads at least once & I had to bend to walk around the bed! Of course this was a feature of the property so not possible for the host to change this. There was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the communal steps - clearly someone in one of the apartments was a heavy smoker (all 51 of them!!) - this was extremely unpleasant.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location. All you need, nothing you don't!

Location in the centre of Honfleur is excellent. The property is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. There is nearby free parking. The host met us and explained everything. Wifi was pretty good too.

The bed was hard for my taste. We could have done with a couple more pillows. The shower tray is a very flat "designer" type sometimes it would overflow soaking the bathroom floor.

Good communication. Very responsive. Great street. Very close to the centre, yet very quiet. Close to the free car park, shops and sea.

Half the property has reduced headroom, so it's a bit tedious to bend all the time walking through it. If we go back, we won't pick a loft conversion flat. We also kept tripping next to the stairs as the floor had a tiny step. When asked about recycling facilities, they said they don't offer it as it's too far. We found out too late that it was only a few meters from the flat, so it seems they can't be bothered to offer a separate bin. I wouldn't mind emptying them myself at the end. No shower gel, only shampoo. Apparently, we have to use the shampoo for everything. Odd.

Great host, location was right in the heart of the town so great for us, the small kitchenette was very useful as we do not like eating out all the time and most important the bed was comfortable!

So well situated! Comfy, clear, perfect for a couple of night! The manager (Christelle) us very professional, she welcomes you in person, she gives you all the info you need and she is very accommodating!

We suggested to the property manager, when we she picked up our key, that if we stayed 2 nights, there should be at least 3 toilet paper rolls. I said I had diarrhea. She said the owner said she can only put out 2.

Fabulous location in nicely set up apartment

Great location and a well equipped apartment. Had to meet the host to check in which isn't my preference but the process was easy. Our apartment was at the top of the building and so was hot in the heatwave but a fan was provided and we managed remarkably well. There were blackout blinds on most windows but not on the veluxes which would have helped (It was unusually warm tho when we stayed)

Low beams in the apartment meant that it was a little challenging for tall people. Would like to have a washing machine (but the listing is clear that there isn't one)

Passable

It was very charming and well decorated and the location was ideal. The free parking was a short walk but free!! We appreciated the character of the room and the recent upgrades were noticeable.

We did not realize we would have steep stairs up two floors-challenging to get suitcases up. The bed was hard and not comfortable for us. There was a definite cigarette smell in the apartment that was quite offensive. I’m fairness to our host we did not complain to her during our stay but tolerated it and hope it can be addressed and mitigated for future guests.

The apartment was very well equipped, very clean and neat. The location is perfect to explore Honfleur, and located in the historical center, but still very quiet. Highly recommend. The person who met us did not know english but it wast an issue, as we communicated very well via google translate.

The water pressure wasnt the best the the wifi was a bit off in the top floor, but nothing that bothered us too much.

A little oasis in the centre of a beautiful town. Our third visit here - not our last

Location was fantastic with free parking within 2 minutes walk. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was spacious and elegant. All facilities available but we spent most of our time out and about. Had the weather turned, the room would have been an excellent place to relax.

The loveliest accommodations spoilt by the nastiest of habits.

Fabulous location, beautiful studio, well appointed and offered by a delightful host. almost perfect.

The only reason we wouldn’t return is that cigarette smoke permeated through this building. We would enter the apartment to be hit by the strong smell. It was often worst in the bathroom & we suspect it was travelling up through the gaps in the floor by the side of the shower. However, it could be smelt throughout the studio, which is essentially one room. Despite the chilly weather, we needed a window open at all times. The alleyway through which you enter this property is communal to other properties and on several occasions there were men out there smoking both tobacco cigarettes and weed. The smells from this permeated the ground floor lobby. However, we are pretty sure that the cigarette smoke coming into our upper level studio (Tortue) was from one of the studios/apartments below. We would have liked hand towels as well a bath towels in the bathroom and those supplied were not very big or very soft.

Perfect base in old town Honfleur, Normandy, clean, newly refurbished.

One bedroom apartment in central Honfluer, in the middle of the old city, newly upgraded facilities throughout, perfect for a longer stay to explore the old town or Normandy in general which we did. Could easily accommodate a family of four (2 children in the livingroom on the fold-out sofa) - although it was just us as a couple travelling. Highly recommended. Parking is a five minute walk away as there is no free parking available but not a big drawback. Value for money and would return if given the opportunity.
