Maintenance and attitude change needed.

The location of Le Passoceans is phenomenal. On the corner, our room on the first floor, it looked up one touristy and interesting road, and down another. It was close to the centre of town, a mere minute walk. Close to all the restaurants, the shops and the marvellous Vieux Bassin and La Lieutenance. The room itself was very large, plenty of space for bags, and air. There are plenty of windows to open and sit at. The kitchen and bathroom are separate from the main bed and living area, so a person does not disturb the other. The shower was good and big. Instructions for entry to the locked gate, the locked door, were easy to understand, with pictures. Gorgeous wallpaper in the foyer. We absolutely loved the place, but there were problems that spoilt it for us.

1. the big one. The air condition was not working for a long time, and it seems, no one had bothered testing it prior to our stay. Something was badly wrong, a timer? Without manuals ACs can be hard to work! It should be checked every session. When I asked girl said 'there is a remote control' (duh!) and a circuit breaker. Great, thanks. 2. There was no black tea. A normal staple in the 'coffee and tea' spot, especially when Honfleur is full of British People, (I'm not british, I just like normal black tea) it was not supplied. 3. Worse, the Espresso coffee machine had no pressure, and we couldn't make coffee. I messaged the staff. The girl didn't want to know. She suggested that 'previous guests had not told her it wasn't working', and basically didn't believe me. Nothing was done. Even though their office is mere metres away, no one brought a replacement, or even came to check it. Obviously some previous guest broke it and didn't volunteer the information. These things should be checked. 4. The bathroom tap was broken. 5. It was pretty hard to get luggage up the stairs, this is normal for heritage French buildings, but be aware. 6.For a room that looked so pretty in the picture, (love the colour), it had the worst interior decorating! Creepy rabbit statues with top hats and ruffles, bedside lamps that were geese with a lamp over their heads. And bad pictures of unknown people. 7.The lighting was way too low at night. 8. The lounge chairs were mismatched (didn't care) but one was a childs chair, so low, and so small. 9.There was ZERO in English on TV. Surprising, knowing so many English there. 10.The room is quite noisy, with deliveries from the road only 1 level below. 11. Staff reluctant to get involved or to help WHILE you are there.

Charming apartment in the heart of Honfleur

The place has a beautiful and unique design and is located in one of the best spots of Honfleur. The host was super nice and responded to our requests in a timely and kind manner.

The shower sealing was damaged, which was making it uncomfortable to use the bathroom. We reported this issue to the owner and they promised to fix it.

It had a great location, the cleanliness was good and the space was exceptional.

Location was great, cleanliness was good and the host whom greeted us (Romain) was very thorough and even helped us bring up our luggage.

The negative is that it is a five floor walk up, a few of the rooms can get warm and it runs more like an VRBO so we were thrown off by the name Hotel Passaceon.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Honfleur

Beautifully decorated in the very heart of Honfleur. Great facilities and very comfortable. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues that were addressed very quickly.

The noise of footfall from the apartment above. The occupant seemed to have heavy boots and paced a lot but it is probably just something you have to accept in an old building. The same goes for the stairs.

L’emplacement au centre d’habitation honfleur et le côté vintage de l’appartement

La salle de bain. La poignet de la salle de bain non fixée, l’écoulement du lavabo très lente ainsi que la douche eg le pommeau horizontal de la douche qui ne fonctionnait pas correctement. Le manque d’isolation phonique ou on entendait les pas des hôtes de l’étage du dessus simplement marcher et pour fini le manque de luminosité de la pièce lié à la proximité du bâtiment .

Het appartement was super compleet uitgerust (keukengerei, handdoeken, etc) en smaakvol ingericht.

Het doucheputje was verstopt, waardoor we wateroverlast hadden in de badkamer. Dit hebben we doorgegeven aan de verhuurder.

Fantastisk! Men med irriterende ulyd fra A/C :(

Helt fantastisk beliggenhet, kunne ikke vært bedre. Veldig fint rom med god seng, vi bodde i Suite Superior på 35 kvm. (Rommene burde kalles Suite Superior 1 og Suite Superior 2, så det er enklere å skille mellom disse med samme navn). Effektiv aircondition som var svært god å ha på våre varme dager i Honfleur. Verten var rask til å svare da vi hadde spørsmål (selv om problemet ikke ble løst), kommunikasjonen var god. Det var masse kleshengere og nok håndklær, velfungerende kaffemaskin og bra wifi. Veldig fint med Chromecast. Kjøkken og bad er noen få trinn opp til en annen "avdeling" av rommet, veldig fint med litt privatliv der når reisefølget har lagt seg :) Vi bor gjerne her igjen ved neste besøk til Honfleur! Spesielt hvis et par ting blir rettet opp:

Aircondition fungerte veldig bra, men den kom med ekstremt irriterende, ganske høye "beep" hvert 30. sekund. (Jeg trodde først det var en dørklokke i en annen etasje, kunne ikke forstå hvor lyden kom fra). To ganger i minuttet hele døgnet! (Eller, seint på kveld, når det var litt kjøligere, kom pipelyden faktisk *litt* sjeldnere). For de av oss som er lydsensitive er dette et STORT minus. Jeg holdt det nesten ikke ut, men det eneste alternativet var å slå aircondition helt av! Hvilket IKKE var et alternativ når det var så varmt. Så jeg måtte ha musikk på øret eller TV-en på – sånne gjentagende, konstante ulyder går meg ekstremt på nervene. Dette må fikses! Av andre ting kan nevnes at et stort speil (helfigur) var savnet, det er god plass til å henge ett på veggen ved døra. Gjør det. Og få opp noen knagger på badet. Helt merkelig at det ikke finnes knagger på et bad! Tips: Ta alltid med egne knagger (med sugekopp) på ferie.

Séjour en famille, 3 générations réunies ravies!

L'emplacement de l'appartement en plein centre de Honfleur tout en étant au calme, notre séjour étant en novembre, les fenêtres sont restées fermées... L'aménagement très bien pensé et la déco de l'appartement. La simplicité pour les clefs à l'arrivée comme au départ. Le confort des lits, bien douillets, et le service "hôtelier" : draps, serviettes, produits douche, sèche cheveux, café, thé.... Bref, vous posez vos valises. Nous étions dans un véritable cocon, très envie de revenir ! La gentillesse des personnes de la conciergerie, merci à eux notamment pour leur conseil sur le restaurant pour les 20 ans de ma fille, le bistro du port au top !!

Peut-être faudrait-il préciser que l'appartement est au 5eme étage et que le vieil escalier, magnifique, est un peu raide... Notamment pour les personnes plus âgées. De mémoire, il est stipulé que l'appartement est en duplex, ce qui est vrai, il est même sur plusieurs petits niveaux, un charme fou, mais le 5eme étage m'a peut-être échappé lors de la location. Pour moi, cette information a été indiquée après avoir validé la location.... Mais je me trompe peut-être. Mais il est vrai, qu'il y a une photo avec l'escalier en colimasson.
