Huttopia Saumur

Saumur is een leuk stadje aan de Loire met goede aansluiting op de Voie Verts, waarover je hele mooie fietstochten kunt maken langs de Loire. Camping is ruim opgezet met vrije plaatsen en verhuuraccomodaties. Tip voor de boekers van een emplacement, kies die met uitzicht op de rivier, liggen wat hoger gelegen, mooie plekken daar. Personeel en beheerder waren erg vriendelijk & behulpzaam.

Toilet unit was functioneel maar wat kleiner dan bij andere Huttopia's Er zijn laadpalen, die werkten eerst niet, personeel was erg behulpzaam bijv. ook op zondag. Er waren veel Nederlanders op de camping. Helaas werd ondanks dat Oranje niet uitgezonden, 2 dagen later Frankrijk wel, die waren duidelijk in ondertal.

Accueil très sympathique, avec tous les renseignements. Le bungalow était conforme à nos attentes, confortable et bien équipé. Les bungalows sont assez espacés pour se sentir "chez nous", le centre est très herborisé, en pleine nature.

La route d'arrivée dans le centre comporte de nombreux nids de poule.

Camping très agréable... Activités proposées dans le camping... Très content de notre séjour en famille ...

The Chalet was clean and except for lacking a fire extinguisher and had a good inventory. Lovely views from north side of sight.

This is not a Hotel but a campsite. It is unsafe regarding fire risk. The Chalet is set in woodland that was tinder dry with little fire fighting facilities. There are no fire extinguishers in the chalets despite being fitted with a gas cooker. Nearest extinguisher about 30M away and no local hydrants with hoses. All the path lighting in our area was broken or defective. Black as your hat without a torch. The bar and cafe had been shut down for the season three days before we arrived. Observed typical French habit of fag ends being thrown away.
