Very central and room was spacious with separate loo which is always useful.

Location was amazing and bonus of the market was excellent. Clean and comfy beds.
Lack of information meant unaware of 50+steps up to apartment and so many trip hazards. Advertised terrace not fit for purpose.

Outstanding location right in the centre, comfortable rooms and beds with A/C all around. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. We accidently booked a wrong leave date and they went out of their way to give us an another apartment in the building (which was also excellent). They also have a little shop downstairs where you can get an excellent breakfast. Saumur is fantastic!

This was not a great apartment. At the top of very steep stairs. Cobwebs on the windows and generally did not feel clean. Poorly equipped kitchen. The aircon did not work properly, it was a fan and very little cooling. Owner was very unhappy about storing our bikes
Lack of cleanliness, aircon not working, no hand basin in the toilet. Beams and light fittings to bump head and feet on. Awkward spaces. Terrible pillows. Noisy. I didn’t like much at all.
