Lovely setting but NOT wheelchair accessible

The setting was beautiful, the pool was lovely, the staff were also very helpful, for instance they took delivery of a hoist we hired for my disabled son before we arrived.

The Lodge was so much smaller than it looked from the photos. The living area was very small with just a 2 seated couch and small chair for 5 of us. It was supposed to be wheelchair friendly It wasn't. There was a step onto the path and into the lodge. Luckily we had bought a small ramp which enabled us to get my son into the living area otherwise we wouldn't have got him in. His electric chair does not go up steps even small ones. Once in the living area all the internal doors were too narrow for the chair to get through. We couldn't use the hoist as there was not enough room. To get my son to bed we had to use the ramp to go back into the garden then bring him into the bedroom by carrying him through another set of patio doors. This property should really not have a wheelchair symbol. We couldnt even use the toilet as it was up another step.We managed by being creative and we did enjoy but if we hadnt brought the ramp we would have fallen at the 1st hurdle.

unfriendly staff, expensive breakfast, lots of ants and the staff doesn't care nor do anything about it, not even provide insect spray or come look at it. Customer service extremely minimal with apparent customer hierarchy: no access to the main building with nice big dining area, foosball table (just meant for other guests). No hot water in the bathroom sink, no garbage bags nor dishwasher tabs, nor cleaning solution of any kind; ratty towels with shredded edges, sheets don't smell clean. Kitchen very minimally equipped (I guess they don't really want people to cook, just warmup takeout). The other cottages look nicer but we were assigned a somewhat run down one, even though the whole place seems quite empty. No blackout blinds in the back bedroom, just translucent curtains. Pool was closed & covered; we were told that we could ask to open it and that there were no fixed hours, but then when we did at 6pm they said it was too late. We booked the place for beachside access but they told us it's closed, too! We can't even go to the beach here so had to drive to neighboring beaches (at least there are some 15-20min drive away). They don't provide any beach stuff anyway.

A wonderful holiday in a beautiful location

Fabulous location overlooking the sea with wonderful sunsets and views enjoyed in peaceful surroundings with lots of places of interest to visit. Catherine was a wonderful host and the Showroom perfect for our family needs. We enjoyed the tennis and pool facilities and spent most of the week outside due to wonderful weather and hope to return.

Bel emplacement au calme et familial

Le cadre, le calme, la vue sur l'océan, la piscine, terrain de tennis, pétanque, la place de parking privé et clin d'oeil plus particulièrement au jardinier qui est d'une gentillesse exceptionnel et qui a fait participer mon fils qui adore les animaux à la vie de la mini ferme. Le cottage le pêcheur est très bien équipé en extérieur et intérieur. Proche de Honfleur et Trouville.

Le fait que sur Booking en juin lors de notre réservation, le complexe n'avait pas indiqué que la plage accessible à pied à 5 minutes est fermée pour glissement de terrain depuis janvier 2025. Nous avions choisi cet hébergement à la base pour la proximité de la plage à pieds avec nos enfants en bas âges. De ce fait, nous avions dû prendre notre voiture pour aller aux plages. Petit détail, les portes du cottage qui grincent fortement, ça réveillait les enfants.

Heerlijk ontspannen verblijf aan zee.

De locatie met uitzicht op zee is echt fantastisch, helemaal bij het verwarmde zwembad. Ook wordt het domein heel goed onderhouden. Mijn pubers waren vooral blij met de voortreffelijke WIFI in het huisje en op het hele domein.

Alleen het weer, dat was wisselvallig. Je kunt het treffen maar dus ook niet. Door een aardverschuiving kun je niet meer direct naar het strand lopen

Je suis très souvent en déplacement , je recommande fortement les lieux.

C’est un beau lieu, mais il y en a d’autres. Ce sont la gentillesse de Catherine, son souci du détail qu’on retrouve dans les moindres recoin du gîte ainsi que de la propriété autour et son adaptabilité qui font la différence !

L’emplacement / la qualité de la literie et des chambres et salle de bains

Il n’y a pas d’endroit à l’intérieur de la maison Jacky où se poser autrement qu’autour de la table à manger lorsque l’on est 5 comme c’était notre cas . C’est dommage néanmoins il y a une belle terrasse .
