Good place to chill with lovely staff members

Love the location (out of the chaos and fast to go anywhere with your scooter), staff keeps the facility always clean and tidy. Everyone was extremely nice and kind, so helpful and kept checking if everything was okay or if we needed anything thing. Really had a good stay here.

Highly recommend - fantastic place to stay in Uluwatu!

Wonderful staff, very friendly welcome and helped us out with all our questions/requests. The accommodation is super clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location is also great, only 3 min by bike away from the main road (which allowed us to sleep without the noise of it).

Beautiful get away

Really beautiful place, the bungalows are perfect for couples to spend some days together. Very clean and well kept place, and the staff are amazing too

Not really walkable to anywhere (but grabs are easy to get). It is surrounded by building sites which can get loud in the day when chilling by the pool.

Quite, nice, clean & good WiFi

We’ve been travelling for 3 weeks between Bali and Lombok. Kandahill has been the best place we’ve been so far. Quiet, nice, tasty food and breakfast, a fridge always full of drinks, towels. WiFi connection was enough good to work and make calls (ask for the private WiFi, not the one you find on the flyer - that one doesn’t work good)

Everything was perfect. I read people complaining there’s no place where to eat around. True, but honestly who come’s to Bali and doesn’t rent a scooter? Otherwise choose a central location… Btw you can rent scooters directly at the property, and they were quite good!

Beautiful, just book it!

The villas and the swimming pool area were beautiful, kept spotless and always well tended too all day. The staff were super friendly and always smiling, the food which could be prepared at any time of the day when asked by the chef was delicious and great portions, very reasonable prices and amazing value when sat by the pool. The location was perfect away from the noisy centre of Uluwatu and we had no issues getting taxis/ Grab from there. They also have the option to rent scooters from them if you require. Would 100% recommend, like most of Bali the staff are wonderful and it's a very relaxing villa. Air con is good and water is provided daily in your room.

Good option in Pecatu

The friendly and helpful staff, big shout out to Baiu, Ztenjo and Putu. The beautiful setting and plants. The pool - good for relaxing or swimming lengths.

When the cook had to take personal leave, no replacement was found, meaning only a breakfast menu and no lunch menu, and food only available 0800-1200 rather than -1500, which is not as advertised. Too much noise from the road and nearby construction sites.

I liked the location, 5-10 minutes drive from shops and coffee, staff was very nice and helpful. The room were great, cleaned. Receptionist very helpful. And great amenities.

If you want to eat at the hotel, the kitchen is quite slow.

Disappointing property with uninterested and absent staff

Disappointing - no hot water, property full of mosquitoes, door didn’t lock properly (staff were unbothered when we told them this). Towels never replaced - had to ask staff everyday to change them. Property far away from the center- not really walkable so you have to taxi or motorbike.

Quiet and relaxing

Very calm and quiet place with a beautiful pool and garden. Friendly staff and possibility to rent scooters. I loved the stay!

The location is quite far from the centre but with a scooter it was only 5-10 min and you will need it anyway. The hotel is placed on a hill with a beautiful view but there is no viewpoint to watch it if you didn’t book the room on the top floor, which was a bit disappointing. WiFi connection was poor.

A peaceful and lovely stay at Kandahill Hotel

We stayed at Kandahill Hotel for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. Uluwatu is a calm and developing area, and this hotel is perfectly located — close to the beaches yet still central enough to explore the surroundings easily. What made our stay even better were the incredibly sweet and helpful staff. Everyone was always smiling and ready to assist. Our room was spotless and even had a large bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise. One of the best features was the pool — you’re allowed to swim until midnight, which is rare in Bali! And this was the only hotel we stayed at in Bali that actually provided pool towels. We tried both the breakfast and lunch — and they were absolutely delicious! We also rented a motorbike directly from the hotel, and it was honestly the best bike we used during our entire time in Bali. It handled Uluwatu’s hilly roads perfectly. Kandahill Hotel is a place where you can stay with peace of mind. Cozy, clean, and full of positive energy. We’d definitely come back! 🙌🌴🏍️

Great value for money

Staff was super nice, pool area was very well maintained and a good place to chill out of the room. I loved being able to grab drinks and just write it down, beer was always cold. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, Tv and sound bar were a great addition.

We missed power outlet next to both sides of the bed, a shower curtain or glass around the shower (it ends up getting all the bathroom wet), a bit noisy as we were facing the street and could hear all the vehicles.

Perfect cosy home away from home

Very comfortable and excellent value

I really enjoyed my stay and I ended up extending three times. Staff are fantastic. Both the rooms and scooter hire were excellent value. I would happily stay again!

Location is a little out of town, but I enjoyed this. You will certainly either need a scooter (hire at the hotel) or rely on Grab / Gojek. Also would have loved a small fridge.

Highly recommended!

The best stay on our trip so far. The entire accommodation was very well maintained, was watered and cleaned several times a day. The bungalow was simply great. Somewhat away from the main street and the restaurants and therefore very quiet - exactly what we were looking for. The staff was also very friendly. Would definetly book it again.

We would say Darmadi is the best host, his made this trip come true!! We love the area of the villa, the pool is big and the neighboor is hill side. The staff were really friendly and help us to order some food from restaurant around. Would be back for the next trip again!! :D :D :D

Het is een erg fijne plaats om te verblijven. Huur zeker een brommer om ergens te geraken of neem een taxi via Grab. Vriendelijk personeel… geen enkel probleem om iets te regelen bij een omboeking. Zeker een aanrader om hier te verblijven.

Jammer dat er geen lunch kon gegeten worden. Waarschijnlijk wel als het wat drukker is. Wij waren buiten seizoen daar.

Una piacevole scoperta.

Seconda tappa del nostro viaggio a Bali e dintorni. Abbiamo pernottato una sola notte, ma è assolutamente bastato per comprendere quanto questo resort ha da dare. Una piccola oasi di tranquillità, in una zona di Bali che devo dire non ci ha entusiasmato molto, se non per il famosissimo tempio di Pura Luhur Uluwatu. La struttura e la stanza davvero bellissime, noi abbiamo scelto una delle casette davanti alla piscina, molto belle e suggestive. Abbiamo avuto anche modo di pranzare, e apprezzare la bontà della cucina del resort, davvero ottima. Il resort ha a disposizione diversi modelli di scooter in affitto, noi abbiamo affittato direttamente da loro per poter essere autonomi nel girare nei paraggi. Attenzione solo alle strade, perché in Uluwatu sono davvero brutte e sconnesse.

Sehr saubere und große Zimmer mit super Ausstattung. Rollerveleih zu guten Preisen möglich. Das Restaurant hatte frühs jnd nachmittags geöffnet, am Abend nicht. Jeden Tag bekam man neue Flaschen Wasser suf fas Zimmer. Personal sehr freundlich.

Schattenplätze am Pool wären toll gewesen. Evtl könnte man 1-2 Sonnenschirme aufstellen. Lage eher etwas außerhalb. Man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Transportmittel.

Nous avons été très bien accueillies par Putu 😊 La chambre était très confortable et propre. L'emplacement est idéal pour aller dans le centre et explorer les plages et les alentours. Les équipes sont réactives si vous rencontrez le moindre problème. Encore merci Putu et Bayu 😄

NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN

Der Mann beim Empfang hat uns anfangs Ewigkeiten warten lassen und uns dann ein ganz anderes Bungalow gegeben, als wir gebucht haben. Als die Männer unsere Koffer ins Zimmer gebracht haben, meinte einer, dass wir morgen dann ins größere Zimmer können weil da jetzt noch jemand drinnen ist. Daraufhin bin ich zur Rezeption gegangen und habe gefragt wann wir denn bitte das Zimmer bekommen, das wir WIRKLICH GEBUCHT haben. Als Antwort bekam ich, dass es AUCH ein Bungalow ist. Dies teilte er mir in einem sehr unhöflichen und arroganten Ton mit. Sie vermieten als nur EIN Bungalow auf Booking, haben aber verschiedene auf der Anlage - und die zwei verschiedenen Bungalows unterscheiden sich in der Größe massiv!!! Es war gerade genug Platz um unsere Koffer am Boden zu öffnen. Meine Frage ist: wie kommt man als Gast dazu, dass man seinen Koffer nicht ausräumen kann bzw. am nächsten Tag (an dem man ja eigentlich verplant ist) alles zusammenpacken und seinen Urlaub unterbrechen muss um in das Zimmer zu ziehen, dass man EIGENLICHT Gebucht hat. Und dann darf man sich auch noch anschnautzen lassen. Meiner Meinung nach ist das Kundentäuschung was diese Unterkunft auf Booking betreibt!

Super séjour à Uluwatu.

Bien placé, à 15 min en scooter de Padang Padang beach. Les bungalows sont nickels et très fonctionnels. Il y a pleins de petits espaces pour se reposer au bord de l’eau ou bien à l’ombre. Je recommande ✨
