La Brava Bali I Private Luxury Villas in Bingin, Uluwatu

Very easy check in and check out. Host met us at both times and we're flexible and accommodating with our requests.

There was a slight sewage smell at the ground floor but this was resolved by the host once we raised it.

The location was top, the villa itself was so big and comfortable we loved everything

It’s very new, spacious and the interior design is very modern but still homey. The beds were super comfortable and the welcome of the two kitties at the reception was a cute surprise

The communication and attention to detail from the staff doesn’t fully match luxury experience that should come with this villa. Before arriving I asked two times if we could check in early. They said it was no problem if our villa was ready. When we got to the reception I was bluntly told “No, checkin is at 2pm” by one member of staff and then all of a sudden, when this was not mentioned before we had to pay 500.000idr to check in early. We decided to just go out for food and they promised us that they text as soon as the villa was ready. Never got a text… The pool wasn’t cleaned. I understand that wind can bring in small leaves even after cleaning, but there was a gooey layer stuck over the tiles on the stairs and plateau. The terrace also wasn’t swept. Lastly; when we left to go for lunch someone (first it was said to be a guest, later the owner??) took one of our helmets and didn’t return it to late in the evening. Maybe it’s a difference in customs, but I think I shouldn’t have to assume someone just randomly takes a helmet when I leave behind my own.
