Don’t stay here

The pictures are not true at all. This is a student’s dorm. it has a small kitchen with one bed there, that occupied all space and another one upstairs. we didn’t have internet connection and when we asked they said they were on holiday. I am your client since check in until check out and you supposed to at least give a proper answer.

The location is close to D-day beaches, clean room, fully equipped kitchen, helpful staff when we left the key in the room.

After the arrival, the staff responded only through phone call and spoke a little bit English, the use of laundry machine and dryer cost 6 eur in total by purchasing a token, we need to clean the room ourselves otherwise the cleaning service will cost 30 eur (very expensive). It said there's a bathtub, but it only has shower.

Fine, basic accommodations in quite well maintained property in the north of Caen.

Convenient for our needs. Met our expectations. Staff quite responsive (except about bathroom lights). Studio was basic and not large but fully acceptable and adequate. Bed quite comfortable. Tiny kitchen quite well equipped. Nice garden and work-out room. Location relatively convenient for public transport. Generally quiet area near university.

Automatic setting for hot water inadequate for daily needs of 2 people; better (but still the tank was small) once shown how to manually override. For the price, found it strange that rental of 3 weeks did not include a weekly change of sheets, towels, and modest cleaning (vacuuming and bathroom cleaning) without extra cost. Lights above bathroom mirror did not work despite two repair requests (told it would be replaced after our departure but that meant the bathroom was too dark to do makeup). Bathtub/shower lacked grab bars.

Good location to stay with friends

I liked the location due to the easy access to the motorway. In the apartment there was a bathroom with the toilet and an other separate toilet so it was useful for a group of people. We loved the free wi-fi which mostly worked fine. We could use the underground car park so we were sure that our car is safe. We loved the city, it is worth to stay there.

There were a few issues : a broken head shower holder ; we had to move the microwave because the cable was too short and there was only one socket within easy reach ; We were stressed one evening due to the coded key not working so we were locked out of our apartment, happily though it was sorted quite quick. There was only one blanket to cover ourselves at night and there was no proper quilt; I felt cold at night and had to use an extra blanket - my own.

El apartamento está genial como base si vas en coche y quieres visitar toda la zona de Normandia, tienes mucho parking libre gratis justo en la puerta, una gasolinera justo al lado y un centro comercial a 10 minutos, el apartamento tiene de todo lo que puedas necesitar y estaba todo muy limpio, la cama siendo un sofá cama nos resultó bastante comoda, es un sitio muy tranquilo, perfecto para descansar, a la entrada nos recibió una chica muy amable, que aunque no hablaba español, nos entendimos perfectamente con el traductor de Google, en recepción casi nunca encuentras a nadie, pero si tienes cualquier duda les escribes a través de booking y te contestan rapido, hemos estado muy a gusto, perfecto para lo que nosotros buscábamos.

Todo estaba bien, por decir algo mejoraría la cama.

Que no tuviese aire acondicionado. Si es cierto que había un ventilador. Lo ideal hubiese sido dos, uno para cada de las partes del dormitorio. Tuvimos buena temperatura.

Nell'appartamento c'era uno strano odore. Qualcuno aveva fumato nel passato? I detersivi? Senza finestre aperte era fastidioso. Con le finestre aperte , si sentiva molto di meno. Solo che ha impregnato anche i vestiti che erano nell'armadio.

Résidence calme et agréable. Personnel sympathique et souriant. Appartement bien équipé et propre avec kit de vaisselle, de toilette et un panier d'accueil avec madeleines, dosettes de café et thé. Idéalement situé pour se balader dans et hors Caen.

Juste une suggestion : que l'établissement prévoit un endroit pour déposer les clés si l'accueil est fermé lors du départ.
