Cosy space with bedroom area on a mezzanine up a spiral staircase. Although Victoire is not one of Bordeaux's most salubrious neighbourhoods, the location of the flat is excellent, being right next to the busy square and pedestrianised Rue Ste Carherine which is an easy walk into town. The free parking in the Victoire public car park right next to the flat is a winner, as neither parking nor driving in Bordeaux are easy.
No place to stop the car and unload bags, but the car park is so close it's not a problem wheeling them from there. (Be ready to lift bags up lots of stairs to the top floor!) Also NB no air con. With climate change Bordeaux is getting hotter in the summer, and despite many fans in the flat it would have been stifling the week before we were there (temperatures were over 40º).

Altaz is a great host, received a message from him minutes after booking. He could not meet us as we made the booking on the day but made sure the room was ready and left keys in a safe location
We were there for one night, in and out. He made it very easy for us to stay without any hold up. All facilities worked, we had soap, shower gel etc. He was expecting a coffee delivery the next day, so a minor note is having coffee available.

Great location with a very comfortable distance to the Victoire Campus (about 10-20 seconds literally) and the old town. Super helpful and friendly host, being in contact all the way through if needed. The key is very easy to access.

La ubicación es más que perfecta, un lugar limpio y la comunicación con el host fue muy buena. Un punto adicional positivo el parqueadero.
Hace demasiado calor, los ventiladores son de baja potencia para el calor del verano. Nos fuimos antes porque dormir se hacía imposible. Sería un gran upgrade contar con un aire portátil por lo menos
