Edgar Suites Bordeaux - Sainte-Catherine

The location was great, only 2 minutes walk to local bars and beautiful streets. The sound proofing was great - we were worried that the noise from the street would be loud but once the windows were closed, you couldn't hear anything. The hosts were very kind and easy to get a response from and the facilities were good (dishwasher and cleaning equipment etc)

I was surprised at how small it was considering the price and it was just so hot in there. I know we were there in summer but it was just unbearable to sleep. There wasn't much space in the kitchen to do any food inside really although it was well equipped.

The communication with Erwin was very efficient. The appartment is ideally located with an excellent boulangerie around the corner on Victor Hugo. There is also a handy and large Carrefour opposite the boulangerie. The tram is an easy 5 min walk away and if you are a shopaholic then you will love sainte Catherines street 2 steps away from the appartment. The appartment is clean and well equipped, the beds are comfy and the welcome gift and a special treat for my birthday were very much appreciated.

A minor niggle, the shower head could be improved.

S’il y a un truc à améliorer ça serait l’équipement de la douche.

It was a clean, well-equipped centrally located flat near to a tram stop. We were easily able to visit local sights & shops.

The location was very noisy especially at night. We had to keep the windows open as there was no air con & we were disturbed mainly by the shouting of night time revellers as well as early morning street cleaners & delivery vans. It was sad to see young, homeless drug users in the street outside. We had an extremely noisy night when a rave took place in the street below on 21st June as part of a an annual music festival. Our flat manager did not warn us this was scheduled.
