The place could of been more clean in terms of the towels and bedding and the breakfast should have a few more options

From the first contact with the hotel the staff were friendly and they were even more welcoming when we arrived. The location is ideal, 12 minutes walk to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and the same distance to Eminönü pier for the ferry over to Kadiköy, but positioned in a quiet neighborhood. Amazing breakfast giving tastes of local cuisine and a touch of British (we had scones one day). Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean hotel. Great value for money!

Overall, for the price it was great value, but.. it is old and run down. The bed sheets were clean but had holes in them, the towels were mismatched and old, the bathroom ventilation brought the smell of cigarette smoke into the room, and the ducted air conditioning was very effective, but as it came out of the ceiling directly above the bed, it was difficult to get the right temperature at night without getting too cold from the direct cool air. And without it, the room was very warm (start of June). Certainly no major complaints and for the price we paid, we were happy.

In need of renovation our shower door would not close. Bathroom very small. Need larger sheets on bed. Did not like the breakfast
