We loved everything about our stay. Our room was cozy, the view from our balcony was incredible, and it was perfectly located for everything we wanted to do. A short walk from the train station and excellent live music in their restaurant at night was a huge plus!

Great value and location, would definitely return!

Location is very convenient and next to a lovely church with bells. Nice traditional Austrian breakfast. Multiple restaurants, a bakery/cafe, and a Billa grocery market all within easy walking distance. The ski bus stops across the street and the train station is just a couple blocks away. Public transit gets you everywhere easily, including other ski resorts further up and down the valley. Convenient heated ski/boot storage rooms on site and friendly staff.

Some guests were a little loud at times, but it didn't last late into the night. The lobby area sometimes smelled of cigarette smoke. No major complaints though.

Location is nice, very close to the center of the town. Our room had a balcony, which was quite nice. They do have ski (snowboard) and boot rooms, but those are containers outside on a parking lot. Breakfast is there, but it's quite basic.

Room was quite dirty. When we checked in and entered the room, first things what we saw on one of the beds was trash on the bed. Later on we also spotted bread crumbs on the bed. OMG! Room smells like somebody was smoking heavily inside of it for very long time. We had to ventilate quite a lot.

it had the most horrendous, potent smell of cigarettes everywhere. the room smelt so bad we had to sleep with the door and window open although it didn’t do much. the smell would not shift! it caused an asthma flare up and sore throats after just one restless night. The place was noisy all night, loud music, shouting and banging. no facilities in the room such as a kettle, cups etc! staff were non existent. not good for families.

I didnt like that booking.com let me book 2 non refundable rooms while the hotel was closed during a rest day. Lucky for during out search for another hotel somebody got hold of the owner and they let us in our rooms.

Unsafe, smelly & poor value for money

The location is really good, right in the centre of Zell am Ziller. Unfortunately this is where the positives end...

The staff could really make at least a little effort to make this place pleasant. Sadly they didn't seem to care. The receptionist / boss (not sure of his actual role) was barely present and no one else spoke any English so we ended up with no heating in our room for 3 out of 4 days of our stay (which is when we finally got hold of him). It turned out he was sitting in the 2nd restaurant (not for guests) with his mates smoking cigarettes all that time. The whole guesthouse smelled really badly of cigarette smoke as well as cooked food from the kitchen. We could smell it in our room which was on the 2nd floor. Breakfast was awful, very little choice and we had to bring our own water as they didn't serve any. There's sauna in the building and the robes are provided by the hotel but they also smell of cigaterres so not a great experience. The security is non-existent, no one asked us for any ID or the plate number for the parking. And as the reception was constantly empty, anyone could come in and bring someone with them at any time. On the last day of our stay, at 7am, a cleaner entered the room while I was taking a shower and my husband was lying on the bed in his underwear. She didn't knock, opened the door (we had it locked with the key in the lock so not sure how that was even possible) and shouted 'Guten Tag!' then turned back and evacuated after realising we were inside. Overall quite a disappointing experience, it did cost less than other places around so only book if you're on budget, have no other option/are booking last minute and don't mind all the above. We would not recommend.

Goed voor 1 overnachting, maar voor ons niet voor een hele week

Locatie was goed in het centrum. Bed en douche waren ook prima.

Het was allemaal net niet. Gordijnen konden niet dicht, bed lampje kapot, stapelbed stond zo dat deur van balkon niet open kon. Bij het toch al minimale ontbijt was bijna alles op en je moest erom vragen om het aan te vullen.

Het enige nadeel was dat er veel voetbalsupporters waren die nog al luidruchtig waren, maar daar kan het hotel ook niet veel aan doen. Daarnaast had het ontbijt uitgebreider en hygiënischer gekund.

Läget och innehållet speglade priset. Hela hotellet kändes lite nedgånget- dock allting fungerade men utan finess. Frukosten var minimum. Middagen var definitivt godkänd. Parkeringen intill hotellet var utmärkt.

Allting kunde bli bättre- men då blir priset annorlunda.
