Nice room and friendly staff
all was good

Location was just what we needed.
Rooms were freezing. Had to ask many times for someone to sort it out. Took them almost two hours and many requests. The company meal was badly organised. Wrong orders despite been previously provided with a meal plan. Food was cold. some were served whilst others had to wait. Many had to leave before the sweet was served.

very good room. However the evening meal was a disaster. We were there for a birthday party for 40 people.
The birthday party was not good as the kitchen could not cope with the orders.

1. We had a long journey to reach the location.
2. First room we were given smelled of marijuana.
3.Second room ww were given was cold.
4. We were told twice that the heating was on.
5. The room warmed at around 10 pm.
6. We asked for fries on all of our dinners it came with chips.
7. The meat on my mixed grill was cold espically the chicken.
8. At breakfast the smashed avacado came with 2 very cold hard poached eggs I spat it out it was that vile.
9. One woman seemed to be doing everything and looked bedraggled.
10. The car park was strewn with litter.
11. There was a constant beeping noise coming from the hotel entrance. Probably a heating fault alarm.
12. The shower ran constant luke warm water. Good for the enviro I suppose.
If your continuosly happy with spending your well earrned cash on places like this go here.

I have regularly stayed at The Willows during my trips to the UK whilst visiting family. The hotel is annexed to a great traditional English pub with a fine choice of drinks including the fantastic Marston’s Pedigree ale. It’s a really well run hotel-pub , and the management with James and Kieran are doing a great job. It’s very comfortable and the rooms are always clean, tidy and have everything you need. The.hotel is perfectly located close to the M65 motorway and easily connects with other regional motorways. In 1 hour you can be in the heart of the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales and it’s also perfect for folks on Sales trips, the price is very reasonable. I would have no problem to stay there for a business trip.
There is an extensive menu available for dinner or lunch and a great Full English Breakfast as well if that’s your thing. Most of all the staff are very friendly and you get a warm Lancashire welcome.
Nothing negative to say.

Location is good, not far off the M65. The staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't have any food at the hotel, so can't review that. Pub was festively decorated which was nice.
The room was tired, there were stains on the walls. Not sure what they were but seemed like something had run down the walls. The room door didn't lock. The mattress was very hard. Just needs a face-lift to freshen the room up. We have stayed previously and the hotel was better then.

It's convenient for my business in Blackburn and room was clean and tidy
Stayed here 4 times now. The food quality, service and variation is beyond me. I commented on this stay I'd had poor service previously with cold starter, average main and slow service. The lady on duty assured me that everything would be fine. The starter came (soup) which was average which did this time have a breakdown roll, unlike the previous week when it was cold and a piece 50p loaf white sliced bread. The main mixed grill (steak medium) was like rubber. When id finished and they cleared my plate I commented on the quality again. Didn't really seem bothered.id also ordered from my table a drink when my main came which eventually the bar staff realised and brought it as id finished my main about 25 mins later. I'd booked and paid breakfast but didn't bother. Previously the variation in quality again wasn't prepared to wait , also they say from 7am but on previous visits it's been later before they unlock and takes forever to get served. Not like they were busy. Pity as it's ideal for where my customer is but sadly think I'll be travelling further in the future

Very easy location just off m65 junction. Good view of hills from bedroom windows. Well served comprehensive breakfast. Good clean room.
I couldn’t open the bedroom window, but the room didn’t get too hot.

Incredibly handy having pub and restaurant right next door, quiet room and very good facilities
The cleanliness side could have been slightly better, mainly small things like the soap dispenser was dirty where we’d touch it in order to get soap out, and the card insert unit for power the cover kept falling off

Emergency local booking as our flat was suffering a major water leak from the upstairs flat. Quick & easy check-in. Large, clean, comfortable room. Enjoyed on-site pub sunday lunch.
Anxiety of returning home to see water damage.
