Off the beaten track!!

We loved the location of this 400 yr old property, which is deep in the mountainside above a lovely lake which you can walk around - just beautiful! Our host was lovely and she provided us with a beautiful breakfast. Her 3 dogs were welcoming & so friendly! She also allowed us charge our PHEV.

The route up to this property is not for the faint-hearted but worth it when you get there!

Fantastic stone barn in idyllic setting with lovely host

Super views and facilities with many look out points, alpaca's were fun. The breakfast was the best we've had on booking.com with many pancakes and natural sauces from the jardin and excellent coffee ☕. Super friendly 3 dogs who are really happy to see guests which was a treat too

Just ensure you read the hosts navigation instructions and do not use Google maps, which we did not realise until too late. But a fun drive down to the dam once at Planfoy.

A special place to visit with a cosy and homely atmosphere.

An amazing stay. We checked in late and unfortunately restaurants back in town were closed. We were provided with an array of cheeses, crepes, bread, salad and wine for dinner (which we had not pre-ordered or given advance notice for). 10/10 host and 11/10 atmosphere!

A wonderful remote wooded location – a little difficult to find (!) but stunning.

Unfortunately no running water to the kitchen area, but that’s hardly a problem when our host was so hospitable in offering her kitchen for us to use.

Very nice lady, location was superb. Breakfast was ok. The lay-out of the room was beautiful and the decoration as well. Very unique.

For us it was not clean enough. The sheets were clean but the pillows were smelly. The towels don’t smell that great either and are not soft. Also there was a lot of dirt on the floor and the outside closets seem to not have been cleaned for a long time.
