About this chalet rental

3 bedroom newly refurbished chalet in Matchams, Christchurch. Private fenced garden with patio. There is a pool on site parking for 2 cars. Lake and picnic area attached to site. Nearest beach is about 10 minutes in the car. Christchurch is 10 minute drive away. Local shop is 5 minutes and is open quite late. The site is quiet and friendly. If you prefer to be alone you can be. All residents on site live there, and will always give you advice if required. We have a patio area with table and chairs and a gas bar be q a car is needed for this property.
PLEASE NOTE ELECTRIC Is Via A COIN METER £1 Or £2 coins.

The limited space has been used well in the chalet, making it feel quite spacious. Right in front of the door is the swimming pool, which the children immediately wanted to use. Before settling in, it was necessary to clean first, as it was really too dirty to stay. This was very disappointing to us and we immediately reported it to the owner. The "camping" is a collection of chalets around an outdoor swimming pool. We had expected more families with children when we chose a camping during holiday time, but outside the weekend there was hardly anyone present. This allowed us to use the swimming pool privately, but we had been expecting more company for the children. Although there are beds for 6 people, there is room to eat with 4 people. After the unpleasant start, we had a nice, quiet week in the holiday home.

‘My Dream’ chalet was lovely, clean, spacious and in a very peaceful location. Swimming pool would have been lovely right outside the door, but not open for the time of year we were there. Disappointed with no WiFi even though it’s listed as being in place. Also missing from listing is the need for £1/£2 coins for electric meter (bit in 5 nights we only used £3 worth. ) It’s certainly a place I would stay again, and was perfect for touring the area.

Overall stay was very enjoyable and property was comfortable. Unfortunately a couple of things did slightly sour the stay. Firstly it clearly states that wi-fi is available but that is not the case. The other niggle was at no time prior to booking does it mention you need to pay for the Electric through a coin meter.. Both of these really should be mentioned prior to booking. Those points aside the property is in a lovely location and an ideal base for exploring the surrounding ares

Had a much needed break here. Love the decor. Surprisingly warm inside even during late October. Very well equipped. Parking is a bit tight but there is room to pull the car out to make it easier for passengers. Good location, short drive to Bournemouth in one direction or Ringwood the other.Many thanks x

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin. It was spacious, spotlessly clean and was very well equipped. The pool was also very well maintained and heated and we felt very safe as, during the Covid crisis, each cabin could book the pool for an hour to themselves. The excellent weather meant we used it several times. The only slight negative to the holiday was the traffic in the Bournemouth area - but we found ways of avoiding the worst routes. A lovely holiday.
