Extremely happy and felt safe as well as comfortable!

I was extremely impressed with the Riverlea especially the hospitality received from Terry & Tim. The room was clean and absolutely comfortable as well as beautiful! As this was my first trip to Cape Town Terry made me feel at home. Even their dog Harvey was so welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend the Riverlea for perfect location and affordability. I am definitely going back again!

Exceptional place and hospitality

Terry and Tim are excellent hosts , they welcomed us with fresh fruit and yoghurt for the first morning. also supplied a bottle of wine, sherry and snacks. They were so helpful with advice about restaurants etc. Unit has everything you need.

Perfect, peaceful comfort with enthusiastic owners who exude incredible warmth and hospitality

Terry is an exceptional hostess. Right from the outset, she ensured that we were taken care of. Even though we were early, she ensured that we could check-in and constantly kept us informed. She took great care in explaining all amenities and she even added a special touch for my mom's birthday. The entire room is so well-stocked, it could've been listed as a self-catering AirBnb. Terry's carefully placed aesthetics gave the place a luxurious feel, and her attention to detail was exquisite (from lavender towels to scented stick diffusers). The breakfast was divine and she went out of her way to check what we'd like most. The politeness extended all the way till the end when Terry and her husband Tim waited with us to ensure that we got into our taxi safely. Thank you Terry and Tim! We will definitely be back.

I honestly can't think of anything negative. I hadn't been to Plumstead before so I wasn't sure about the location and what it would look like however it exceeded all expectations. I can't fault anything; we were even provided with filtered water each day.
