Very clean and neat and nice location but bed and lounge sofa need to be more comfortable.

We stayed at the Eagle's Nest. Very clean and neat. Location is good. Good shopping centers, wine estates nearby. Nice places to walk and hike in Constantia. Kitchenette is well kitted out and has all the essentials. Bathroom very clean and neat. Nice shower. Spacious for 2 adults. Netflix and satellite TV very good. Access to lovely swimming pool and braai area.

Stairs up to Eagles Nest very steep especially if you have suitcases to lug up and down. Bed is not comfortable. Sofa in the lounge is terrible. TV viewing during the day is impossible because the sun shines in even with a screen on the window.

Lovely, comfortable stay

Responsiveness of hosts, promptly fixed any issues found, daily housekeeping is a real treat! This particular room (uitsig) was the best as had no one walking past the front. Stayed for 9 nights and was a great home away from home Very comfortable, great amenities . Double vanity and shower. Would stay again! Lovely quiet street. Safe. With genius 3 discount, was great value for money.

Very residential quiet safe area

No lounge. I had to keep my curtains closed all the time. Could not open and enjoy the garden or outside. There were people there that were smoking Pot next door.

Lovely stay. I recommend!

I spent one night here and really liked the place. We had the family room with balcony, accessible by a flight of stairs. It wasn’t an issue for me, but it might be for people with lots of luggage. The kitchenette had everything one needs to prepare meals and hot drinks. I loved the stainless steel pots. The washing machine and washing powder were a huge bonus. We absolutely loved the bath tub and spent a bit of time in there. The place was very clean and the towels felt soft and new. There was a bit of milk in the fridge, which we didn’t use, but it was a nice touch. There was also a jug of cold water in the fridge, which I found to be rather lovely & refreshing. The location is great. It’s a very quiet neighbourhood and the village shopping centre is but 5 minutes drive away, and Kirstenbosch gardens 10 minutes drive away. I imagine it to be great in the summer when one can also use the pool and bbq area.

The bed was horribly creaky and loud. Every toss or turn made a loud creak and we didn’t sleep well due to that. I also didn’t like the synthetic-like bedding on the bed. It would’ve been nice to have a clothes horse or something to hang washing on. There’s no table in the room to have meals at, and it was too cold to eat outside, so we stood and ate by the tv stand not to make a mess anywhere else (I travelled with my 3-year old). The tv didn’t have a single channel that I could find. I only stayed one night, and after reading all the rules and regulations sent to me via a booking.com message, I was glad I wasn’t staying longer, as there are many rules, some of which I find quite restrictive. So make sure you’re aware of all of that so you don’t caught out with extra cleaning fees, etc.

Very clean and comfortable, very quiet and private.

Located in a Very Quiet street. Secure parking. Very nice and super clean. Has all the required amenities and more like olive oil, milk in the fridge, spices, all well labelled. Very nice kitchen with all utensils. Super king size bed with ultra luxurious matress topper. Very comfortable pillows and good quality linen including a matress liner. Nice large wardrobes. Nice large bathroom with bath and double shower.

I didn't like the fact that a tenant has to sign an additional very one sided contract of several pages for any damages that might occur. This was uncalled for and made us feel unwelcome. As a businessman, we had no table or chair or space to work on a laptop. I would have appreciated a small dining table for meals and to work at.

Fantastic location to relax and unwind after a long day at work especially as a visitor. Quiet safe and close to shopp

Fantastic quiet location. Close to place of work and shopping centres. Felt safe and very comfortable. The swimming pool is a real bonus for summer months and I am going to use this property for visitors who come from overseas to spend time with my company as alternative to a hotel.

I disliked intensely that requirement to pay R4000 deposit for breakages. I understand that there unfortunately are those people who make a mess, plunder and break, but I am not one of them. I understand that the facility brought in this requirement due to the uncivilized behaviour of some member of our society, but the booking starts off one a sour note to be 'branded' as potentially one of them.

Beautiful Home away from Home

The cottage was clean, cosy and beautifully decorated and equipped with all the necessities of home. The bed was huge and so comfortable. I loved the outdoor area, too. Pity I couldn't stay longer.

Very beautifull but little privacy!

The house is very spacious and very nice decorated. Location is constantia is close to everything!

The staff comes into your house without notifying. there are multiple apartments in the building but apparently the cleaning stuff is kept in the Manor House kitchen in a cabinet and the staff needs to be in and out your kitchen all the time. Really strange if you are standing in your payamas (or less). Gardener also takes short cut to get to other appartments through your garden and neighbours seems to have a code for your private garden as well since they also came into our house at 7.00 to ask us to move a vehicle (that wasn’t ours). Felt not good that everybody can just come in the house from all sides without notice. Also the directions to enter the house are very vague, and when we where in front of the gate and couldn’t get in, they kept us waiting for 45 minutes before opening if from a distance.

This is a little gem in the Klein Constantia area. It is so comfortable and the staff are so friendly. Romeo is the best!

Perhaps the venue could look at better parking space as it's cottages are expanding... but other than that, this place is amazing 👏

Echt genoten van dit prachtige verblijf

Prachtige accomodatie, van alle gemakken voorzien! Perfect voor als je Kaapstad wil ontdekken maar niet midden in de drukte van de stad wil zitten. Het bed sliep lekker, de keuken had alles wat je nodig hebt en je kunt buiten braaien. Ook het zwembad was heerlijk.

Sehr schöne, bestens ausgestattete Unterkunft. Toller Outdoorkamin für Braai, ebenfalls mit allem ausgestattet und wie alles hier tiptop gepflegt. Supermarkt fußläufig erreichbar. Sehr schöne Umgebung läd zum Spaziergang ein. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereiten Personal.

Dass im Vorfeld (aber nach Buchung) ein langer Vertrag unterschrieben und Fotos vom Pass übermittelt werden sollen. Die Besitzer bekommt man nicht persönlich zu Gesicht, sie scheinen aber entweder sehr misstrauisch zu sein oder sehr schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht zu haben. Mich hat es jedenfalls geärgert.

Aangenaam verblijf net buiten de drukte van CPT

Rustig gelegen in een mooie, propere, aangename residentiële wijk op een boogscheut van de wijnhuizen in Constantia. Goeie bedden. In de ijskast bij aankomst stonden 2 flesjes water en flesje melk koud voor gebruik. Koffie, thee, suiker beschikbaar voor gebruik. Vlotte communicatie met de eigenaars.
