Great Hostess

Very friendly host. The Chimes was walking distance to the town. We parked right outside, they also have permits to park on the road. Beds very comfortable and clean and has tea, coffee and biscuits in your room. Area was very quiet so a good night's sleep was had. Breakfast starts at 8am but as we were leaving at 6am Donna made sure we had a hot sausage sandwich to take with us.

The bathroom could do with some modernisation.

The breakfast was excellent as was the accommodation. The hosts were so nice and went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable and had everything you needed. All in all highly recommend this B+B.

Good little hotel with a superb hostess and a very good breakfast.

We received a genuine warm welcome and superb service throughout our short stay. You could not find a kinder or more effective hostess. Everything was clean. Our bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great, and nicely presented. If we return to the area we will stay here.

Our room was small for a double, although it did not matter much as we needed only somewhere to sleep! There was nowhere to hang towels in the en-suite, which is not ideal, but I told Donna who took it as a constructive suggestion and may have fixed that already.

The property was nicely presented from the outside and very welcoming on arrival. The Owner was very helpful and accommodated us for a late check in. Our room was clean and smelt fresh and plenty of tea and coffee provided. The beds and pillows were very comfy and me and my daughter had an enjoyable nights sleep

Our radiator didn’t seem to work early hours in the night and early morning and we did end up a bit cold when getting up in the morning

The location is fantastic as not in centre but only 3min walk away room was clean and decent sized breakfast was beautiful plenty of choice. Donna was very friendly and helpful booked us in again for this sept
