Good, but could be better

I liked the room, I liked eventually having a hot shower in the times when the hot water was available & when I had the correct code for the front door being able to let myself in/out independently.

I couldn't find anywhere to park on the busy street outside Schofield house. So I could only get parked on another street up & around the corner from Schofield house, this caused a longer distance for carrying luggage back & forth to my car. I didn't know about having to pay £7 for parking until I arrived. (B&bs across the road from Schofield house advertise free parking in there window) I realise the reason could be cost effective for Schofield house & it wasn't there fault I couldn't get parked closer by. I wasn't keen on the designated time frame for the hot water because I tried to have a hot shower at 4pm, only to realize afterwards evening hot water was only available 5pm-8pm.

Too many unnecessary items in a small room. Hairdryer and toiletries were down stairs...not in room. Very dated shower ie shower curtain and nowhere to put toiletries other than the floor.

The owner is absolutly fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay fab location is great and room was brilliant The lady checked us in early and sorted out parking for us Everything was made easy and she thought of everything ypu could possibly need when you have children We will definatly be returning next time we visit

Uncomfortable bed.

Tea & coffee facilities were very good in the room. Nice large shower. Dogs very well catered for.

Sheet on bed was very bobbly and worn. Pillows felt hard. Bed overall wasn't comfy. Doors are heavy and slammed shut very loudly on all the rooms.

Most enjoyable little break

A lovely couple run this hotel, it is close to amenities and sea front. Our room was spacious, comfortable bed and immaculate decor and cleanliness. Lovely touches like the welcome tea and snacks, we also appreciated the breakfast hamper which was available.

A fantastic guest house in a great position with very welcome hosts,

Pauline’s attention to detail was fantastic. The room was gorgeous with a small sitting room with a fridge and microwave. We couldn’t ask for a better room. The doggy cupboard was an excellent touch in case you had forgotten anything you just put a donation in the RSPCA tin if you use anything.?The breakfast hamper was a very special touch for a relaxing breakfast, they were delivered to your room at the time agreed excellent value and very tasty. The location was great out of the way enough not to be bothered by noise but quite central to Bridlington. A big bonus for us the guest house was doggy friendly.

As it is an older property there were lots of stairs but hey ho it keeps you fit

Hosts were brilliant - very clear instructions and were helpful in terms of allowing us early arrival to get ready for a wedding. Very accommodating. Also helped with car parking.

Great stay. Close to the promenade.

We had a lovely stay at Schofield Guest House and would happily return. The location was perfect for us – close to everything we wanted to see. The check-in process was quick and easy, and we were really pleased to find free parking right outside. Our room was spotless, and the bathroom was just as clean. For the price we paid, it felt like great value. We were comfortable, well-rested, and had everything we needed. We’d definitely recommend it!

A lovely break.

We liked how comfortable the bed was. We enjoyed the array of snacks and refreshments. The room had everything we needed. There was a supply of other things in the foyer too. There was lots of local information for things to do. We were pretty close to the beach. We definitely recommend a stay here and will go again. The owner was lovely.

The breakfast was later than I needed it as I'm diabetic but there's plenty of cafés and food places nearby.

Did not order a breakfast. The owner was most helpful in assisting us with taking luggage to and from the room. A fridge was an asset. Toiletries were supplied

The shower pressure was poor. There were two bath sheets per person. Perhaps one bath sheet and a small hand towel per person would have sufficed and saved on laundry.

Just stayed the one night the lady was lovely and friendly and made us very welcome thank you I thought it was good value for money.

Some shouting and at someone to be quite and stop arguing I could get back to sleep after that awake most of the night but enjoy the night away from home despite the arguments

the comfortable bed , room very clean a bit on small size but adequate . Would like to return but have a room with on- suite bathroom.

Hot water situation would have been better there s two 3 hr slots one in the morning then one at tea time we would have liked 1.30 to 3.30 a cold shower not very nice, the bathroom and toilet was next to our room for our personal use with a key.

A lovely b&b in an amazing location.

The location is spot on! The staff were really friendly with great little touches. We had the opportunity to park in the car park which was only £7 for the stay, though you definitely need a thin car to get round the back.

The bed was comfortable

Did not come close to other properties we have stayed at with a similar high rating. The bed filled the room, with barely space to walk around it and bring in our 2 medium suitcases. The lounge room was the small entrance foyer and not inviting for relaxation. Facility generally tired. Advertised breakfast was unavailable. Parking on the property was a surprise additional cost, almost 10% of the night stay and available street parking very limited.

A great place to stay

A beautifully kept House, Clean and tastefully decorated. The Host was very friendly and a wealth of local knowledge. Ideal for town centre and sea front. The rooms was spacious and very comfortable. I recommend Schofield guest House highly.

Excellent comfortable stay.

I had a very pleasant traditional room with all the home comforts you would want. Tea, coffee making, biscuits and bottled water in room. Shower room ensuite was very modern and bright. All very clean. Easy access to the guest house out of ours and the host of the property was very helpful. There was an option of a breakfast basket.

Nothing. Just a comment that the bed mattress was very soft but that is just a personal observation.
