Well-placed, modest lodgings in the historic centre of Split.

Well positioned next to the old town, without much noise at night, despite a thriving nighttime economy. Staff/owner very helpful. Clean. Lots of really nice eateries just outside.

Quite basic and the room was small, but they have done well with what they have. Stairs to the level of the apartment challenging if you have mobility issues

Lovely visit to Split

Excellent location. Several amazing restaurants right outside (make reservations because they're that good and hard to get a table without). Market just outside as well. There was a kitchen we could use (we mainly had coffee and yogurt in the morning). Beds were very comfortable, bathroom spacious. We were a little concerned with the noise but there are double pane windows which eliminated the outside noise. Everywhere we wanted to walk to in Split was maximum 15 minutes with 8 minutes being average.

Knowing we needed dinner reservations as the restaurant across from the entrance is Michelin starred and has very good reviews. Maybe next time! Everything with the apartment was great.

It’s a clean affordable room in a great location. The husband and wife were very nice…with very limited English.

It was in a great location. It’s not a traditional hotel with a front desk but the owners answered the bell and let me in promptly at my afternoon arrival.

Booking.com’ directions didn’t show you where to go. Google GPS took me to a construction site and additional 13 mins past the location on a hot afternoon.

Perfect for us!

The room was clean and located in a central area close to lots of restaurants. Because we were disembarking from a smaller boat cruise the location was ideal. We arrived around 3 hrs before check in and our host kindly let us store our bags. There are stairs to the rooms which while fine for us, may not suit everyone.

Look no further

Clean, peaceful, modern bathroom, comfortable bed and speedy air conditioning. The location is excellent, for either being in the stunning Old Town or near the port and ferries. It is tucked away nicely and we did walk past it at first. The signage is discreet and just above the doorbell. Nada was genuinely hospitable and made us feel very welcome even though we missed the 10pm final check in time due to a flight delay. I would rebook this place in a heartbeat.

Great location for the centre of Split

The owner was really helpful and let us leave our bags well before check in even though we arrived much earlier than expected. The room had a small fridge but the bonus was a small communal kitchen and an outside terrace with settee, chair and table which we were at liberty to use. Location is ideal, close to Diocletian’s palace. We were 3 couples and it suited us perfectly. Would definitely stay again.

It said toiletries were provided but there was only hand gel. This may well have been because our early arrival put our host under pressure and he forgot to replenish. Tiny thing and normally wouldn’t have been a problem as we have travel size toiletries with us, just this time we didn’t.

Perfect.

Riva rooms was incredibly comfortable, spacious and in a brilliant location. The staff were very very friendly and hospitable, waiting for us past check in time and meeting us outside on the street after our flight was delayed. It was very clean as well. Definitely will be coming back

Great location though with some issues

Good location, nice host, comfortable room.

In explaining to us how the keys worked, the host said there was one for the street door and another for our room AND the floor door. We confirmed, and in fact, the same key worked for both doors (both inside the building). Of course, we did not check if it opened other guests' rooms, though one would assume it would open them all. This could be a major issue security-wise for the safety of your belongings, so please beware. The bathroom could use a towel hanger.

Pleasant

Super location in the cosy area of the centre with bars en restaurants. The places has a nice shared outdoor sitting patio and kitchen. Friendly and flexible host.

The airconditioning did not cool the room. You could not have the window open because of the food smell of restaurants. And the room could use a better clean and dusting.

Good choice

Great location, on walking distance from the Riva (and all the main transport modes), but still a very quiet and relaxing place. The host is very friendly and helpful. There is also a shared kitchen and balcony at your disposal.
