Location is great for Oxford and Cotswalds tourism. The local village of Witney is very cute, lots of places to eat. The backyard was great for the kids too.
When we walked in the front door, there were ants crawling all over the place, my kid had fun vacuuming them up. There also was no A/C and limited fans for summer heat. Also, no shampoo or soap, we had to go buy some. The hot water turned off for some reason, and we texted owner but they never responded, we managed to fix ourselves but a little annoying.

Great location close to the town centre. Lots of space for our extended family of 8 adults and one child - both indoors and outdoors. Lovely characterful and quirky stone building. Quiet at night. Kitchen was well equipped.
Bins hadn’t been emptied and it wasn’t clear what went where for the recycling or kitchen scraps. Bath/ showers drained extremely slowly. No response to queries prior to the day of arrival. No basic provisions like salt in the kitchen.

The property had great open social spaces and the location was great for the local town.
As the weather was so good we needed more cushions for sitting outside.

Location within easy walk of Witney town centre as described
Cleanliness - interior kitchen bins not cleaned, sofas grubby, sitting room floor not vacuumed correctly, external area not swept, bin area broken bags and rubbish strewn, dog excrement visible on gravel,
Contact - received so many emails about arrival and checkout and extra payments it became annoying. I tried to contact property with number provided to complain when we arrived and no one got back to me for 24 hours.
