The Old Coach house- a delightful home from home

The Old Coach House in Witney is a beautiful 4 bedroom, Cotswold stone home. Hidden away in a quiet, private lane yet just a 10 minute stroll from the High Street shops, restaurants and cafe's.

This large, quirky property has a unique layout and retains many of its original feature walls and beams. All rooms have the option of a King size or twin bed option.

The space
Dating back to the 1700's The Old Coach House has bags of charm, retaining many of it's origional features and beams.

The property sleeps 8/9 guests and boasts 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen diner area and a spacious lounge with a wood burning stove.

Bedroom 1- Superking bed OR twin bed (ensuite) plus an addisional small single bed in a small adjoining side room
Bedroom 2- King size bed or twin
Bedroom 3- Superking OR twin bed
Bedroom 4- Superking OR twin bed (ensuite, ground floor)
Family bathroom

Step outside and enjoy the patio garden, for a spot of alfresco dining.

Parking for 3/4 cars

Our large encolsed garden area is a great space for a kick about or spot of swing ball.

Pets are welcome but please note although the garden appears aenclosed, a curious pet may find their way out.

Guest access
Guests will have sole access to the entire house. On the ground floor: you enter into a lovely country kitchen via a stable door. The kitchen is open plan to the dining area. From the dining area there is a small set of steps up to a huge lounge and both rooms have direct access to the patio and garden (this is mostly fenced in but a curious pet will find its way out of the garden to the right hand side if the garden where it is difficult to close the gap).

There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor, with a few steps up and down to each room (see floor plan in photos).

The Master suite has a superking (zip link) bed with a twin bed option, a small side room with a smal single bed in. Juliette balcony with a lovely garden view and a shower en-suite. For their safety - please ensure children are supervised at all times near the balcony or the balcony doors are kept locked.

Along the hall there is a large family bathroom with shower over the bath.

Bedroom 2 is a kingsize zip link bed (twin option).

Bedroom 3 has a superking zip link bed (twin option)

Bedroom 4 (en-suite) is a zip link Superking so it can be made to a twin if preferred. Please note this is back down a second set of stairs and therefore may not be suitable for children depending on their ages as it is away from the rest of the bedrooms and the living space. Bedroom 4 can also be accessed from outside (the small door on the right hand side of the cover photo) without the need to use any stairs at all.

The Coach House has beautiful high ceilings throughout the property, but there are a couple of points where structural beams are lower and you may need to mind you head! This is on entry and exit to the master bedroom (just over the steps), the stairs to bedroom 4 and (if you are over 6ft) the beam in the kitchen.

We welcome well behaved pets (please see rules about this)
We also have flexible sleeping arrangements in the master bedroom, the bed can be made to a superking or twin room. There is also an additional guest bed that can be used in any of the bedrooms or placed in the living room should you need an extra bed (charges may apply for this)
