Stunning property, incredible views and outstanding hospitality.

Incredible location, right in the heart of the city. Parking was easy at the nearby car park. The property is beautiful, located on the top floor with views overlooking the city and mountains. Host was very helpful with recommendations and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Lovely breakfast provided for a surcharge followed by coffee on the roof terrace. Can’t wait to return and recommend to future travellers. You won’t be disappointed.

A delightful perch above the rooftops attended by a kind and thoughtful host.

The property is a thoughtful and playful refurbishment of the top floor of a traditional building in the heart of the old town. The rooftop is magnificent, quite magical at night.

You do have to walk up 3 flights, but the host is there to help with your bags.

Kept wondering how we’d get out in the event of a fire. French planning laws must be a little more lax than the UK as there was no fire escape, and being on the 5th floor…

Location was good

We were surprised by having to climb three floors by stairs. The stairs were very hot. The guest rooms were individual rooms in a minimally revamped apartment. The communal area was basic and the roof top viewing terrace was shared with the building infrastructure

Perfect place for a night en route to Montpellier

The apartment was clean, fully equipped and modern, right in the centre of the city. Everything was there that we needed and the rooftop terrace a real bonus, the views are amazing!

One thing to note is that there is a lift that only takes you half way and you need to walk the rest. So, if there are any mobility issues, this wouldn’t be a place to book.

Lovely room in the historic centre of Clermont Ferrand

The room is lovely with a great view of the surrounding town and mountains. The hotelier Eric was so kind to me. We had a great conversation at breakfast. I appreciate his hospitality. The bath was my favourite part. Deep and scouldering hot. Exactly as I like it! As for location, the hotel is located right in the centre of town. You can see the cathedral from the rooftop and the main attractions are within walking distance. I parked my car in an underground car park. It cost around €14 for 24hours. Overall a lovely stay and I'd love to visit again!

Unique apartment in the centre of town.

The place was great, beautifully designed and very comfortable (this is coming from two architects who can be very picky too) However, the apartment is on the roof and the lift was not working when we visited so we had to walk up five flights of stairs. The host met us to help with luggage, but since it was such an ordeal, we left most of our things in the car parked in the nearby lot - fortunately it was still there in the morning. I think the lift only went up halfway anyway (something I must have missed in the description of the property). It was fine for us but might be an issue for travelers with mobility issues. I was traveling for holiday, I did have to do one last pesky meeting for work and specifically chose this place because it said, 'entire apartment', which I needed given my zoom call went from 4am to 8am. There were in fact other guests in the apartment, each bedroom is locked and has its own bathroom with shared living and kitchen facilities. I was worried that the other guest might not have appreciated the 4am call? Hopefully, they didn't hear, my partner could not hear me from our room.

Everything was perfect, the warm reception and welcome, the nicely decorated room, the terrace with beautiful view over town, the central location.

You have to be aware that you have to carry your luggage up 3 floors but the very friendly host offered to help. Thanks for this.

Superb

Excellent position, within easy walking distance of historic centre. Friendly staff (I guess he was the owner) helped us up stairs with our luggage. Fun decor. Good breakfast with choices in advance so no waste.

The building was a bit run-down (but full of character) and the 5 flights of stairs would have been an effort (the lift only goes up 2 floors!) if the hotel guy hadn't helped.

Great position, just five minutes walk from the cathedral. Quiet and clean with a great view if the town and mountains from the roof top terrace. Eric the host was really welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful each morning. Good sized bedroom and a nice reception/ lounge area.

The only thing that stopped me giving a 10 out of 10 was the lack of a shower, there was a huge bath in the room but if you are only having one or the other installed then my preference would be a shower - the room was in fact large enough to install a bath and a showe.

Un lieu d exception tant dans la deco que l emplacement. Accueil charmant. Isolation phonique excellente et, en hypercentre, c est necessaire. Literie de qualité. Dommage que l entree de l immeuble n ait pas ete renovee à l instar du logement. Et bien sur prudence par rapport aux 3 etages pedestres...
