The property, room, facilities and friendliness were very good. Such a quirky property and room massive massive. We would strongly recommend this.
It was a little hard to find the entrance to the property as it was dark when we arrived.

I had a very nice stay here. The house has a very beautiful decorations and furnitures. Room is big and the garden is beautiful. I really like the setting in dinning room for the breakfast. The breakfast is delicious with French style. I even like the dog and the cat. The host is so kind with good recommendations of the restaurant. We had good communication even I don’t speak French and she does not speak Chinese. I would like to come back in the future if I visit France again.

A beautiful place to stay - we had the largest room with a long balcony and spa bath. It was slightly more expensive than we would normally pay, but worth it! The bed was so comfortable and the room was beautifully decorated. Parking is on site, which is really useful, and it’s easy to get into Lyon by bus and metro. The owner is lovely, very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very nice.

Everything was very nice

Everything looks so cute everywhere, so much little details and attention to furnitures and decoration.
You can hear a little bit it’s not sound proof but it’s normal because it’s a old castle

Beautiful apartment in a busy part of Lyon, yet still very peaceful and quiet. The apartment was clean and charming. Breakfast was delicious. The little dog Bianca was very sweet.

I love the lady working there, she and her dog was lovely. Excellent breakfast and the shower.
Have been on two hotel in the same price range and the both hotels I had a private toilet ( maybe it said, but just assumed it was private)and a bit more space. Could not find a bin in the room.
I understand it’s an old building and if I am honest the heating was a bit on and off, sometimes I was cold.

Beautiful room with an amazing shower. Very quirky decoration but so stylish. Tranquil space with lots of natural light. Fabulous high ceilings. Not too far from the City centre. A very friendly, welcoming host.

I liked very much the house and its decoration. I also liked very much the breakfast and the host.

The whole vibe of the room was great a sort of collective mix of memorabilia, old fashioned French style meets modern day....
The squeeky floorboards of the room above, the rather shaky bedroom door which was a bit of a pain to open.... But we got there... Minor quibbles really.

Like staying in a big provincial country château, but inside a big regional city. Veronique is a wonderful hostess.
Having to use a shared toilet was unexpected as this was not made clear in the description, since the other bathroom facilities (not modern but quite useable) are within the room. Finding the Reception was a little difficult - could use a sign or two outside.

It was very different, quite dark and full of”Stuff”
the single room and a ridiculous
tiny bath

The rooms are amazing, beautifully furnished. I felt like a princess!
Curtains don’t cover windows. Luckily it wasn’t a bright morning so didn’t wake us up too early

I should have checked the surrounding area before I booked as it was a shock on arrival to see that it was surrounded by tower blocks. It would have been good if the room was better lit especially by the bed for reading as I needed to use my torch. I would have liked somewhere with a mirror with good light and a surface beneath it to put on make-up.

A quirky property which was interesting to visit and the host was friendly.
The bathroom facilities really were a little basic and I expecting more for a place selling itself as a chateau. The plumbing pipe for upstairs running through the room was also distracting. A chateau experience where unfortunately I felt I was in the servants' quarters.

The room was very nice and comfortable. You could see that lots of love and thoughts were put into decorating it as well as into the whole concept of the hotel. It is a very special stay as it is in an old castle with a lot of charm. The owner is very nice and the breakfast was top. I really loved staying here.
I had the single bedroom on the first floor which does not include a toilet in the room. This was no problem as I still had a private bathroom for myself but you had to leave the bedroom and go across the hallway to get to the toilet. Sink and small bathtub were inside the bedroom though.

The castle is just beautiful and well maintained, the suite is huge as well as the bathroom with a great jacuzzi. Lovely breakfast included and parking facility by free.
just tough for us to sleep as we’re used to have 100% blackout windows. And in this case there’s a lot of light that comes inside when sun rises.

Breakfast was good even if it was not international.
My room had the toilette outside the room (but inside the castle). This was absolutely not comfortable because I had to dress up everytime I needed to go to the toilette. Maybe it is better to cut off a room, instead of offering this kind of service.
Late check in (5pm) is not a good service.

The owner is incredibly warm and friendly. She allowed us to check in early during the Final day of the Women's World Cup and ensured the room was spick and span for our arrival. The chateau itself is, well, mind-blowing and very special. Absolutely beautiful rooms with great design choices, it is clear a lot of love was put into this place. Lots of nice touches and interesting artefacts. Cute garden out front where one could sit and enjoy a glass of Beaujolais or read a book. The breakfast was magnificent, everything fresh and very flavourful. We shared a table with other guests which led to a nice encounter. The pets (we met 2 dogs and a cat) were a bonus for us as we love animals, but probably good for all guests to know in advance that they are there.
The chateau is a bit far from the center of Lyon but it is possible to get there within 30 minutes by public transport. This is also clearly indicated in the description, so not a minus point as such for the property.
