There are so many brilliant things to say about this house. The location is beyond perfect. Two beautiful beaches on either side a few minutes walk about. And right in front is a very peaceful tiny, rocky,
beach. Lots of local restaurants, our favourite was Golden Sunset for views and the fresh seafood. There's even a back set of stairs from the back garden that takes you up to the restaurant. Five minutes along is an open bar for anyone wanting a cocktail.
The house has plenty of outside space and lots of comfortable seating in shade and sun. Lovely big dining table and bbq with coals. You could wander down to the beach for a swim and some games, and then go back to the house to lie in a hammock.
It's very well stocked with lots of attention to detail. I appreciated the fresh olive oil, jars of honey and marmalade that was left for us. And the figs on the tree were a bonus.
The whole experience was very restorative. I'm glad I took my yoga mat and the jacuzzi was fabulous.
I didn't meet the owner, but he was very responsive whenever we texted him.
To be clear the house is actually made up of two houses. One has a double bed and a sofa bed in the living area. The other is a studio. They are right next to each other. And we enjoyed the privacy fromi our teenage boys!
I'd also recommend Horeftakis for car rental. He came recommended by the house and they meet us at the airport with a car.
Another reviewer mentioned that sometimes other cars would park on the beach in front of the house. It was never a lot of cars, never for the whole day, or did it particularly bother us.
I cannot think of any reason not to book this gem of a place. All my family loved it. We benefited from the time together and the chance to unwind.

The location of this unique property is absolutely amazing, with the front gate leading directly on to the rock-pool beach. It is a very short (1 minute) walk to the sandy beaches and restaurants of Falasarna Baby Beach. We tried the three closest places to eat - Alea, Golden Sunset Tavern and Orange Blue - all stunning as the sun sets. The accommodation was good, with a super jacuzzi and plenty of shade and seats to relax during the day/evening. Pretty much everything we needed was supplied, even when cooking at the property itself. The garden around the two houses is also lovely to relax in and explore the wildlife – with visits from wall lizards, green lizards, ocellated skink, a variety of butterflies and even a Balkan whip snake. A real paradise.
It is described as a two-bedroom property – but this is incorrect, it is two one-bedroom properties, each with its own front door. This makes a huge difference if travelling with a small child as it is impossible, and feels unsafe, to leave a child alone locked in their own house overnight. As a result we had to abandon one of the properties and slept on the sofa bed in the kitchen of the second house – not exactly comfortable. If we had known it was two separate properties we would never have booked. Having clothes in one house and sleeping in the other was not relaxing or convenient.
Be aware that at weekends, the beach directly in front of the house turns into a little car-park (or it did while we were there).
I know it was unavoidable, but being visited and inspected by three strange men at breakfast on the second day was not a pleasant experience.
