Luxury villa with easy access to Western Crete

We have rented homes before, and to me this was our most luxurious villa rental, down to very sophisticated design picks both inside and out. The kitchen also had every possible tool or appliance you may want/need if you choose to either cook or have simple appetizers/meals/drinks at the property. We chose to eat all meals outside of breakfast at restaurants, but our teenagers stayed back one day and were quite happy with a short work into the nearby town and then simple lunch and relaxing by the pool. It was also very easy to access the main highway (E65) to do day trips to nearby locations (we had a rental car). We also enjoyed the restaurants and boat tour recommendations from the hosts Miltos/Dafni. The extra space and bedrooms is very useful if you are traveling with multiple couples, or if you have teenagers where it helps that they have their own rooms! Did I mention they also had a washer and wonderful air conditioner units in every bedroom? They also had TV in each room, although I only used briefly one day since there is so much to see/do. I know sometimes though it likely would have been a good idea to have "rest day" and this villa would have been perfect to simply enjoy on it's own. Nearby we highly recommend the following: beaches, boat trip (we splurged on private boat tour), Manousakis Winery, Botanical Park & Garden (amazing - recommend getting there early and staying for lunch), Chania, and Rethimno.

The only minor thing was the table in the kitchen is large (to accommodate up to 8 inside) - but makes moving around in the kitchen a bit more tight. That being said having the table in the kitchen allowed for a spacious living room sofa, chaise, and desk area - and would be necessary in winter months or if the weather is not nice and if you have a large group since we only had 4 total!

Fantastic villa

Fantastic well equipped villa with an amazing 180 degree view to the seaside. The hostres were extremely helpful and friendly. We can definitely recommend the villa for 8 persons.

Perfect location for Families / Groups if you prefer private atmosphere and travel with rental car

Everything, in particular the view from the Villa, the heated pool, beautiful terrasse and garden, barbeque, fully equipped kitchen. And last but not least the unlimited support offered by Miltos the owner of the Villa.

Nothing - just to mention the road near to Villa which you can see when looking down to the Sea from the Terrasse.

Wonderful!

Miltos and Dafni are lovely and so accomodating. They came and picked us up when we got lost on the way to the Villa. The Villa itself is stunning and the view simply amazing. Our kids loved the pool and we more than enough room for our family of 5. We will definitely stay there again!

A fantastic stay highly recommended

Our family loved to stay this beautiful property. View from the property was great and location was also good. A supermarket, a fresh fish market and a bakery were all at one location where was not far from the property ( you still need a car though). It was also nice distance to visit famous beaches. And the owner was very helpful. I recommend anyone who like to stay at a quite area, but also not too far from restaurants and shops, etc.. We will definitely come back again.

Amazing villa, views and the host

The villa is very big so easily can fit in 4 couples or 2 families. All rooms have nice bathrooms. There is a huge living room and kitchen with all of the supplies so we cooked mostly for 9 days. There is also a bbq by the pool so that is also a great option. We were very close to the fish market as well as meat and super market so we would eat fresh food every day. The pool is great and the whole villa has stunning view on a mountain. It was amazing to be able to see a sunset every night. The villa has everything you need and more. Sound system, candles, jacuzzi, all kitchen Appliences. Beds are very comfortable and there is air con in every room. The owners are super sweet and helpful. Really nice people!

There was not much not to like. My only issues was that the villa is pretty isolated from everywhere so you really need a car to go anywhere. Shopping, sightseeing- you will need a car. But on a plus side there was nobody to annoy us :)

Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub. Miltos und Dafni waren tolle Gastgeber. Die Villa ist wunderbar und hat alles was man für den Urlaub braucht, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und der beheizte Pool ein Traum.
