Best villa

• Exceptionally good-looking villa, even more impressive in real life; • Spotlessly clean upon arrival, with a cleaning team coming midway through our stay to refresh the villa; • The best host we could have asked for, welcomed us with delicacies, including the best moussaka I’ve ever had and an incredibly fluffy, delicious Greek cake. Also, very responsive to our needs and questions; • Great location; very close to Chania and Kassimos, where you can rent a boat and head directly to Balos.

Absolutely lovely stay in a gorgeous comfortable villa with kind hosts.

Stunning villa with a beautiful sea view and a lovely pool/outdoor sitting and dining area. The welcome was warm and generous, the host's Mum had even prepared a delicious homecooked dish which she shared with us. The fridge was stocked with some essentials, eggs, cheese, fruits, vegetables, drinks etc. The beds were comfortable, each bedroom jad access to a bathroom, and there were multiple balconies to enjoy. The villa had everything anyone could want and more. The location was nice and conveniently close to both Chania and Kissamos, allowing us to explore a bit in both directions. The nearby restaurants and beaches were also pleasant. All in all a beautiful stay.

A magical stay – everything we dreamed of, and more! 🌟 Staying at Villa Kudos was an absolute dream – the kind of experience you hope for, but rarely find. We’ve been looking forward to writing this review since the moment we arrived, because everything truly exceeded our expectations. From day one, Errika and her amazing family welcomed us with open arms and hearts. Throughout the entire week, they completely spoiled us – they had prepared delicious dinners, baked for us, filled the fridge with thoughtful treats, and continued to surprise us with their warmth and generosity. It felt more like visiting beloved family than staying in a rental home. We traveled with four children, and it was pure magic for everyone – both the little ones and the teenagers. There was something special for each of them, and the joy and freedom they experienced made the stay even more unforgettable. The villa itself is perfection. Beautifully designed, sparkling clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The garden is full of fruit trees, the sea view is breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it feel like your own private paradise. Morning coffee by the pool, sunsets from the terrace, and the sound of the sea in the distance – pure magic. If you want to experience everything a dream vacation can offer, book Villa Kudos. Wonderful Stay at Villa Kudos

Errika is an outstanding host! When we arrived, there was food for the first part of the stay, including fruits, vegetables, eggs, bread, homemade cake, cold cuts, honey, jam, raki, tea, coffee, and all the necessary spices, sugar, oil for cooking... fantastic! We particularly enjoyed the homemade Moussaka that was prepared for us. It's a stunning villa with a great view of the sea and a lovely pool area, even though the water was a tad chilly in November :-). This house has everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The location is perfect for exploring the western part of Crete, with beautiful beaches, charming villages, and historic sites within easy reach. We highly recommend Villa Kudos for a perfect vacation.

Wow! Spotless clean, perfect condition, and Errika and her family - the nicest hosts!

This villa is perfect for a family, with 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), washing machine, fitness room, nice garden with swimming pool, air conditioning, Netflix etc. All is in perfect condition, very clean and very welcoming. Location was perfect for us - in the middle of a large olive field, quiet, with nice sea view, but still only few minutes drive to shops, tavernas and beaches. Above all that - Errika and her family are the best hosts! They made us feel very comfortable, and even treat us with some groceries and home made food :) We felt very spoilt.

An amazing villa with everything we only have been dreaming of. A fabulouse pool, quiet area with olivetrees around, seaview, fitness-room, sunbeds for us all and a lot more. The bath and bedrooms were just like the pictures, supernice and clean (just like the rest of the house). The owners have given us our best vacation-experience ever. We also got several surprices when we arrived, and a marvelous greek dinner later on. It tasted like heaven. We miss Villa Kudos already after 4 days, so we will return.

Wonderful stay at a fully equipped villa, made more special by Erikka and her family's hospitality

Host Errika, stayed up late to greet us as we didn't arrive at the property until 11.40pm - her family were wonderful with her mum cooking soup on the night we arrived and through our stay lasagne and butternut squash pie. We were also allowed to pluck lemons and avocado from the trees in the garden. The villa itself was well equipped, spacious, light and set in the hills with stunning views across the ocean. There was a full length pool, bbq, outdoor dining, hammock and garden areas to relax in. Each room also had it's own balconies facing the ocean and there was also a dining balcony area. Inside there was a small gym downstairs, x4 bathrooms, dishwasher, washing machine, tv with netflix/disney etc (saviour with small kids) and wonderful open kitchen/lounge with a large kitchen island and sliding floor to ceiling doors to both front and back of the property. There is space for 2 cars in the front drive and there is also local supermarkets and cafes less then 5mins drive to stock up food.

Unfortunately, the pool was not heated. The temperature was 19/20 degrees celcius in mid-Feb, which was great weather for dining and sitting outside in shorts/t-shirts, but it was too cool to dip into the pool as the pool was not heated.

lovely location, stunning views, a beautiful well equipped villa run by a very attentive and friendly family.

The property is just as it looks in the photos, immaculate. The views are uninterrupted and stunning. The villa is very well equipped, they have thought of everything you might need during your stay and provided it. From the description and photos I wasn’t 100% certain of the layout prior to arriving, so to assist others I can say that: In the basement: there is a bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. A well equipped gym with more equipment than originally expected. A washing machine with instructions provided in English. On the ground floor: A very well appointed kitchen/lounge area with an island which has seating for 4. A tv, a bluetooth speaker (instructions say how to download an app to link your Bluetooth devices to it - although we didn’t use it). A small library of books. A well equipped first aid kit. A double bedroom with a bathroom next door consisting of walk-in shower with a glass partition, toilet and a washbasin. On the first floor: A twin bedded room (slightly smaller single beds) with a private balcony and a small en-suite bathroom (the smallest bathroom of the 4) with shower, toilet and a washbasin. Another double bedroom (directly above the one downstairs) with a private balcony and a bathroom directly next door to it that is the largest of the 4 bathrooms with a shower, toilet and two washbasins. Also contains a good hairdryer (2100 watts). From the first floor landing there is a door which takes you around the front of the property to the side, where there is a large terrace with sofa, chairs and table. A lovely place to relax with a drink and read a book etc. Outside: There is a large table with 8 chairs, 6 sunbeds, an outdoor shower, a lovely pool, an equipped BBQ area with sink. Plus a grass area to the side and another one below the pool terrace area. A fantastic slightly sunken seating area. At the front a small garden area with a swing seat and hammock, plus shaded parking area.

Amazing house and view. Great place to relax.

The villa was spotless and is nestled into a beautiful and quiet area which still has easy access to beaches, restaurants, and stores. The pool and the view it gives is breath-taking. The hosts treated us like family and made us feel very welcome. It is a property we will definitely return to and great for a large family or group of individuals or couples.

This is truly an outstanding holiday home. ✨ The house with its garden and pool area ist just amazing. Beautiful view at the sea from every angle. Perfect places to hang out outside. Awesome big outdoor bbq kitchen. The whole house equipped with everything you would need and even a little more. And last but not least: Such a nice, helpful and friendly owner who was always there for us. We even got a little welcome cake and other selfmade goodies. Thanks Errika for that amazing home ! Wonderful house. Erika, the owner, was on time when we arrived. She left us vegetables, fruits, delicious cake (cooked by her mother), bread, honey ... The house is well decorated, confortable. All the family was very happy to spend time in this place. La Canée and all the beautiful west coast are very close from the house !

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Villa! Alles war äußerst sauber und die Villa selbst ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Auch die Lage war perfekt – mit dem Auto konnte man alles problemlos erreichen. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an Errika, die unglaublich nett war und wirklich keine Wünsche offen gelassen hat. Als Highlight durften wir sogar das leckere Essen ihrer Mutter genießen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Home away from home

Die Villa Kudos in Maleme entspricht exakt den Fotos. Wir haben uns zu sechst (4 Erwachsene und 2 Teenager) dort sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Die Villa ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und Gastfreundschaft wird großgeschrieben. Wir werden uns noch lange an den erfrischenden Pool und an schöne Abende in der Lounge-Ecke erinnern. Herzlichen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt und wir kommen wieder.

Dazu können wir nichts schreiben, da uns alles gefallen hat.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in der Villa von sehr freundlichen Vermietern

Alles, sehr ruhig. Grosser Umschwung. Wir wurden verwöhnt mit einem gefüllten Kühlschrank bei der Ankunft. Während dem Aufenthalt wurde die Villa 2 mal gereinigt und zudem wurden wir mit einheimischen Mahlzeiten überrascht, welche von der Vermieterfamilie gekocht wurden.
