This was probably the best place we’ve stayed in while on holiday in Greece. The house is of excellent quality and confort. The yard is very nicely landscaped, with natural shadow from olive trees and total privacy. The pool is large and very safe for children as depth varies from 1 to 1.4 meters.
The beach (Tavronitis beach) is within 8 minutes walk and it is wide and quite empty, with mix of pebbles and sand. There is a taverna on the beach, which offers sun beds and umbrellas if you order anything. Very laid-back and relaxing vibe. Along the beach there is also a row of tamarisk trees which offer nice shadow. A few minutes walk to the East there is the Tavronitis Delta, a great place for hiking, playing “stone balancing” and relaxing on a totally wild beach.
Yes, the bedrooms are downstairs and kitchen + living room are upstairs, which may seem a bit odd, but you can enjoy breakfast or lunch on the terrace with a great view of the sea, mountains and endless olive tree plantations.
