The staff is very hospitable except for the front desk not helping us with resolution to our car that was hit while park
Everything was beyond expectations
Our car was hit overnight in the hotel parking lot. The front desk clerk was not of much help. Would not even call the police for us. No cameras to monitor the front of the hotel

A well located, traditional quality hotel with fine food but getting a little tired at the edges.
Location was very good. We ate in the brasserie on the evening and, despite losing Heinz Winckler himself, the food really was very good indeed. Waiting staff were efficient and polite. The breakfast was fine but not anything special which you might expect for a 5 star hotel with gourmet aspirations. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable.
This is a 'smokers' hotel, the main lounge was reserved for smoking but the stale smell of smoke was not pleasant for non smokers and it extended up the stairs and landing. This a traditional quality hotel but is getting a little tired at the edges. The shower in our room was underpowered and fiddly to get at the right temperature. Wine overpriced. Bedroom beverages understocked.

Impressive hotel, worth the expence.
A beautiful hotel, lavish decoration, large well appointed room, great views. Some lovely art to enjoy, I particually liked the animal sculptures made from cutlery. Very nice staff, friendly and helpful-the manager told me to put my bike in the staff garage for safety. Impressive resturant, limited menue. The spa is bigger than I expected-it includes a cold pool-great after a sauna. Parking is directly outside the hotel. Recommended.
It is an old building so no lift or aircon in some rooms. Not a big deal really.

A first-class hotel beautifully set in the mountains!
Boutique Hotel Heinz Winkler is fantastic! We had an amazing suite with stunning views of the mountains and the Hohenaschau Castle. The staff was extremely attentive, making sure our every need was met. We ate at the Bistro and it was fabulous. I can't say enough good things about our experience there! It was just wonderful - the best way to spend the last days of a long vacation. We look forward to returning - with family, next time!

Our stay at Residenz Heinz Winkler was truly unforgettable. This is not just a hotel, but a place of tranquility and comfort, where every detail is thoughtfully considered. My son and I felt genuinely welcomed thanks to the warm hospitality of the Winkler family. The spa provided the perfect retreat, and the restaurant offered memorable gastronomic experiences. The breakfast was especially impressive, setting a wonderful tone for the day. We also appreciated the books about the renowned chef, which added even more charm to the atmosphere. It was also a pleasure to know that our dog was comfortable and well cared for during our stay. This is a place we would love to return to, leaving with a sense of quiet satisfaction.

Wonderful location but greatly overpriced
Wonderful location and outstanding staff. We enjoyed a friendly welcome and the staff was extremely helpful.
A bit old fashioned from its decor. The spa/pool area was a major disappointment. The restaurant did a good job but our overall impression does not confirm a Michelin star and, in our opinion, is extremely overpriced.

The room temperature for the Night was too high and the additional bed which was a sleeping sofa wasn’t comfortable at all. The SPA area needs an update
