Good place but not to book on Monday
The breakfast buffet
No reception on Monday! difficult to enter the hotel as you need to take the key in key box as for Airbnb! We were few clients arriving at the same time and we had to call a mobile number to talk to someone who basically speaks english! Bedroom are very basic and overpriced.

A good location to visit Chiemsee and region.
A gasthof with a very spacious and comfortable room in a very quiet setting, but with a good location. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so we didn't have the chance to enjoy it. However, the breakfast is excellent.
As the restaurant was closed there was no reception open and the keys were taken from a safe at the entrance.

Very pleasant overall and we were fortunate with the weather when we needed to walk to the train station.
Nice Staff, great food and reasonable prices
Wifi was inconsistent and had to keep signing in as it was a Hotspot. Without a car the location can be a challenge. 15min walk uphill from the train. Fortunately we had small carryon type luggage with wheels and it wasn’t raining.

Perfect German country hotel experience - will definitely seek it out again and recommend
Characterful local pub-hotel easily accessed from the motorway but far enough from it to feel like we were in the 'real' Germany. Not all staff spoke English but it didn't matter, they were all very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was packed but they found us a table - the food and beer were excellent. A great experience

Exceptional
We arrived a bit late, when the reception was closed, but the hotel left a key in a locker and sent a message with a code. So there was no problem to get in. The room was spacious, what positively surprised us. The mattress had the softness, exactly the one we like. What we liked especially is a double door. Means no sounds came from the hallway. Breakfast was good, nothing special, but sufficient to feel replete. The hotel is located aside from the roads, therefore the place is quiet.
Nothing, except maybe noisy kids a floor above.

Good beer-garden/restaurant food in rural location.
Initially allocated a room overlooking beer-garden, which was changed at our request (and insistence!) Good food in beer-garden. Good breakfast.
Attitude of member of staff to our request to change room was hostile and dismissive; fortunately the manager accepted our request. No air-conditioning or fan - but this is an old property.
