I had a wonderful stay at Rate B&B De Joker in Turnhout. Even though it was just one night, everything exceeded my expectations. The place is beautifully maintained, very clean, cozy, and incredibly comfortable – perfect for relaxing after a long day. Nina is an outstanding host: warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. Communication was smooth and effortless, and she made me feel truly welcome from the very first moment. Her attention to detail and genuine care for guests really make this place special. The atmosphere of the B&B is calm and inviting, and it feels like a home away from home. I honestly wish I could have stayed longer. I would definitely return and highly recommend Rate B&B De Joker to anyone visiting Turnhout. An absolute gem!

Exceptional stay

We loved the room, it was spacious with a maisonette for my 16 year old son. The newly built annex of a kitchen with bathroom and walking in shower was extraordinary. We couldnt have asked for a better stay. Breakfast was superb, finished to perfwction, all items were freshly made and baked .

A perfect, comfortable place to stay.

We loved the friendly welcome of our host, the security, cosiness and privacy of the accommodation and the private, safe car parking. A wonderfully clean suite, beautifully comfortable bed plus excellent kitchenette and a delicious breakfast catering for all tastes. It was a very peaceful and comfortable overnight stop (remarkably near to the E34 but so peaceful). We shall definitely return!

The selection at the breakfast buffet was plentiful, fresh, and featured daily changing options. There were also homemade items. A warm, family-like atmosphere with attentive and charming hosts.

That's the way to run a bed + breakfast !

Absolutely fabulous place, couldn't recommend it more, when I arrived the lady waited up for me as my flight was delayed, on walking into the room it was very homely, could see they took the time to decorate it nicely. Had all the amenities I required and more....plus a full fridge of Belgium and international lager/beer. The weather was great, so I enjoyed the outside the private 'sun-trap'. The surrounding area was really peaceful and secure, I will be back for sure.

The place was amazing. Such a beautiful room, so many cool details, and very thought through interior. The bed was comfortable and place itself was warm and cozy. We absolutely loved the breakfast setup. It looked amazing and had so much options to pick from. Everything fresh and made to perfection. The host was very welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. Thank you. We hope to return again.

Guests are welcomed by the host upon arrival as shown their rooms. Rooms are extremely clean and well maintained and have all possible features one could wish for: comfy beds, coffee/tea, fridge with drinks for affordable price, shower with powerful water stream… breakfast was excellent choice of variety breads, condiments, desserts. Very good value price/quality wise. Would definitely recommend.
