Lovely very french stay.

A real gem just 3 hours from Calais

We loved our stay at Le Clos. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were given a triple room in the main building which actually had 2 very comfortable double beds. One bed was huge!!! We had a great night's sleep. There was no shower only a bath but it was clean and a good sized bathroom. It was quite a quirky room a bit like fawlty towers days but comfy and clean with TVs. The grounds around the hotel are stunning, so beautiful and well kept. The reception and shared areas are modern, clean and bright. We had dinner and breakfast, both were delicious. They did a set menu for both adults and kids. We had prawns and steak and a good bottle of rosé wine all reasonably priced. The staff were all lovely and very patient with our lack of French. (Thanks for working out our broken French and sign language). We were pleased to see dogs were allowed in this hotel. A few were dotted around at dinner. Great for pet owners!! This hotel has 2 swimming pools. One indoor and one outdoor. There is even a steam room and a sauna. We must have spent about 6 hours using the facilities, brilliant!!!! So good for the kids. We were allowed to use the facilities up until 1pm on day of departure. We will definitely come back. Its a great stop if you're driving to/from calais going to Brittany - just over 3 hours drive. Its very close to Honfleur and not to far from Etretat. We noticed they had some lovely looking rooms facing the pool with access to their own sun loungers. Next time we will pay a bit more and choose one of those rooms. Thanks for a great stay.

Friendly staff, kids really enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

Size of the rooms varied. Three person room was spacious, two person room quite small and could use some renovation (but perfectly fine for the one night we stayed there).

Beautiful grounds, fantastic location, amazing staff, fabulous food, amazing breakfast, just great. Reception/wait staff on Sunday afternoon and evening were absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended and will use again.

If I am nit-picking, the rooms were a bit tired but this is a minor detail as it was exceptional value for money.

Restaurant seen better days, large open spaces that have no tables or chairs (Due to demand I would say) so has the feel of eating in an exhibition hall. Difficult to get taxi service; as the location is quite remote you either have to dine in or drive yourself to a location for dinner

Hôtel bien placé, place de parking à disposition , chambre suffisamment grande , salle d eau petite mais suffisante, le plus toilettes séparé , grand lit très confortable , petit village avec boulangerie , fleuriste, tabac et épicerie .

Nous avons aimé l’aspect extérieur, l’espace dans la chambre, wc indépendant de la salle d’eau.

L’insonorisation de la chambre 17 et 18 est inexistante… nous étions dans la chambre 18 et avons pu suivre en totalité la conversation des gens occupant la chambre 17… une horreur. Les oreillers et le matelas trop durs pour nous.

Pas grand chose, l’établissement est très vieillot, mal entretenue même si c’est la fin de saison …

La première chambre que l’on a voulu nous donner, sentait très mauvais, nous avons dû demander une autre chambre, qui était un peu mieux, la literie moyenne, la chambre glaciale, il a fallut attendre la soirée pour avoir un semblant de température correcte dans la chambre, la salle de bain niveau propreté pas top, le plafond du hammam s’effrite, la température de l’eau piscine intérieure un peu trop froide, bien contrôler la facture du restaurant doublon sur la commande et service très très lent, petit déjeuner basic, viennoiseries sans sauveur juste du décongelé et réchauffé, Bref nous n’y reviendrons plus

Séjour qui reste agréable grace au calme et confort de la terrasse au bord de la piscine

La piscine extérieur est très agréable, nous avons pu prendre l'apéritif au bord de cette piscine. Le petit déjeuner était très complet, avec beaucoup de choix. Mallheureusement le serveur n'était pas très agréable et nous a donné quasi aucune explication sur la manière dont se passait le buffet et où se trouvaient les choses.

La chambre ne correspondait pas aux photos du site. Notre chambre qui était à l'extérieur du batiment principal était assez vieillote, le 3 ème lit pour notre fille était dans une sorte d'entrée près de la porte qui donnait sur l'extérieur, et ça sentait l'humidité. Les toilettes proche de la piscine intérieur était en très mauvais état, 2 étaient HS

Manque un petit frigo dans la chambre. La TV ne fonctionnait pas ( même si on ne venait pas pour ça ) Peu de chaise ou chaise longue pour poser nos affaires lorsque l’on va à la piscine
