The Crawford family checked into the Hyllit Hotel in Antwerp at 1:00 PM on January 18, 2026, and from the very first moment, our experience was nothing short of outstanding. The hotel itself is beautifully updated with modern furnishings and maintained to an exceptional level of cleanliness. Every space felt fresh, comfortable, and welcoming. The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk from Antwerp Central Train Station and ideally situated for exploring all the main sights the city has to offer. However, what truly set this stay apart was the customer service. Femke delivered the best service I have ever experienced at any hotel. Traveling as a family of four, myself, my wife, and our two children, she took the time to remember all of our names and made us feel genuinely valued and welcome. She went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed, always with a warm smile and a sincere willingness to help. Any question we had, she either answered immediately or made sure to find the right information for us. I sincerely hope the hotel’s management sees this review and gives Femke the recognition she deserves. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay truly special. Because of Femke and the outstanding quality of the Hyllit Hotel, this will be the only place we stay whenever we visit Antwerp again. Highly recommended in every way. – The Crawford Family

Great location, poor breakfast, service could be better

The location is great. The rooms are nice and clean

There seemed to be a problem with the ac, but this was nicely resolved by the lady at the reception. Paying €7 per person per day to use the swimming and gym facilities is a lot. Charging €50 for 2 persons for breakfast (if this wasn’t included) is excessive, especially given the quality of the food and drinks, which was subpar to say the least. Then, to top it off, when asking for an ironing board and iron, we never received it, not after asking multiple times.

A good quiet room and hotel located in a great area.

Room was good and what I expected and perhaps more. The location was good, just a short walk from the train station, and short walks to sites I wanted to visit. I wanted a quiet room and it was good. Slept well. Laundry service was good and back to me in the same day. Cost was fair.

When I went to use sauna on night of arrival, there was a sign saying we had to contact reception to get it working. I understand this might have to do with energy costs in current climate. It was a slight inconvenience but I phoned reception next morning and got it working
