The town is lovely full of very friendly people. The food in town was delicious.

In a central but quiet location; two minutes to the beach and all other facilities and the shops and tavernas of Palaiochora. Large, spacious apartment with a very comfortable bed.

Too touristy Paleohora.

We stayed in room number 5 for 4 nights.A ground floor studio which was comfortable enough and had decent self catering facilities.. The property was near the town and the two local supermarkets and very large beach ⛱️🏖️ Which we never used.

We didn't like sitting outside at night because of the overgrowth of plants that surrounded the balcony.It became very claustrophobic until morning 🌄 time.And the room service was absent on our 4th day with no bed change,or rubbish collection.. And we never saw the owners until it was time to leave..

Great stay, fantastic region

We liked everything! Super clean, spacious, new furniture and very well maintained. Friendly welcoming and easy communication with the owner. The place is just behind the Palm Tree Café, but it is very quiet while being close to the beach (like 10m!) and the village of Paleochora which is lovely. it’s easy to park nearby, We had a great time, Do not hesitate to book!!!

Good location; excellent price/quality combination

Clean and spacious apartment at a good price. Located centrally just one minute from the beach. This is actually better than being right on the beach because Paleochora is often windy and sand can blow around. If this happens you don't want a balcony facing the beach. Everything was in good condition and worked well. Good strong shower; fridge freezer with lots of space. Separate bedroom; bed comfortable. For a similar price last year (at a different set of apartments) I only got a studio with no bedroom so this was good value

An outstanding example of Cretan hospitality and fulfilling simplicity

Extremely well located just one street away from the more vibrant beach area and main street. Cute little courtyard with a outdoor showers and bougainvilleas beneath a beautiful occra colored wall framing the little private garden. Terrace with comfortable chairs sheltered from sun facing genuine Greek suburban setting with goats, cars, wild cats in front of the Cretan White Mountains. The best, most welcoming host you can ever imagine, who also owns the relaxed Palm Tree Café on the beach walk, perfect for a coffee or lunch break.

A well located clean and comfortable base for 2 people spending a few days in and around Paleochora

The location was great, 2 minutes walk to the sandy beach with a cafe joined to the property, a supermarket and ATM just in front and 2 minutes walk to the main street with all the bars, restaurants, other shops and the other beach. There is another supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away and a fantastic (and highly recommended) bakery called Bakery Anatoli which is open late just next door too. Communication with the hosts was quick, easy and very pleasant and we enjoyed our time in Paleochora so much that we extended our stay by an extra night as the accommodation was ideal, available and the hosts made it very easy to arrange. We were met at check in by the hosts (lovely) mother and shown to our room, she also did an unexpected but appreciated mid-stay mini clean and check out was very easy too. We had all the amenities we needed in the property - kitchen equipment, table to eat, balcony, towels, soaps etc. The television didn't work but didn't matter as we didn't need it and the apartment was clean and comfortable. All the windows had mosquito blinds and black out blinds which was great too. There are spectacular beaches, gorges and walking opportunities within short walking distance of the property, a great tour service called Psarakis Travel Agency & Adventures about 5 minutes walk away where we were also able to arrange excursions. Would stay in this property again in Paleochora.

Comfortable and decent value

The apartment was very comfortable and quiet. Facilities including air conditioning were good.

Only two fairly minor things. There was no map or explanation of the area offered. The way I was taken to the apartment was via a gravel road and I had to carry my very heavy luggage (as it couldn’t be rolled on that surface). If this happens to you, ask to be taken on paved roads - there is a way which is much easier!

Sehr zentrale Lage, ruhige Nebenstraße, geräumig, sauber, schattig (ein Segen im Hochsommer!!!), gute solide Ausstattung, auch in Bad/WC, leistungsstarke Aircondition. Ich war begeistert und fühlte mich rundum aufgehoben, gut umsorgt und ungeheuer wohl!

Sehr freundlicher Vermieter. Das Apartment war geräumig, gut gepflegt und wurde alle zwei Tage gereinigt (inkl. Handtuch- und Bettwäschewechsel). Strand, Innen-„Stadt“, Geschäfte und Innenstadt waren sehr gut zu erreichen. Mein Sohn und ich haben dort zwei wunderbare Wochen verbracht.
