We all loved this charming cabin!

The cabin was beautiful! I loved the homey decor, we loved the movies available, and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The kids loved the twin beds upstairs.

We had trouble finding the house. Google maps was telling us it was on the other side of the road. My 6 yr old daughter thought the hand soap smelled yucky (it was really fine). The kitchen sink wasn’t clean. It looked like it had cleaning solution dried in it, like it got missed getting scrubbed out. Also, I was confused about what we were supposed to clean up for dishes, laundry, etc. There were dishes in the dishwasher, I wasn’t sure if they were clean or dirty. I’m sorry that we left dirty dishes. We actually missed our ferry and had to wait in line for four hrs to get the next one.

I am very happy with my stay at the Chalet. It is a cozy place and I enjoyed a restful stay there.

The chalet was great as it had lots of room and had comfortable beds and furniture. The best feature was a fully equipped kitchen as I cooked meals each evening and I had everything I needed.

I would have appreciated getting the information from Vacasa about how to check into the house prior to the day of my check-in. In order to catch the Anacortes-Lopez ferry I had to leave my home early and therefore did not have access to the Internet. I had written Vacas a couple of times requesting an earlier check-in. The response was a bit vague and that it was not possible to check-in before 4pm. I would really have appreciated being allowed to check-in earlier. I arrived on Lopez in mid-morning still without any information about how check-in was to take place....would someone meet me there?, did I need to pick-up the key somewhere? Once on the island I located the house in the early afternoon. I had to call Vacasa to find out how to get into the house. The person from Vacasa was very nice and explained that an e-mail had been sent to me earlier in the morning giving me the code to the key box by the back door that would let me into the house. The problem was I could not access my e-mail. I would have like to known prior to my departure day how check-in would take place.
