Take a walk on the beach steps from the back door. Have fun crabbing or clamming and exploring the calm waters. This home is nestled within a quiet and peaceful setting that spans nearly a full acre of land and is surrounded by nature.

Visiting chefs will love the well-equipped, full kitchen with granite countertops while resulting meals can be enjoyed indoors at the breakfast bar and the adjacent table or alfresco outside on the deck. This home also offers two living areas with sectional sofas and TVs to stream your favorite channels. You'll also find two rooms with desks and chairs - perfect for remote work or schooling. Additional amenities include a gas grill and a private washer/dryer.

Beautiful home and incredible location! LOVED having waterfront access. Really appreciated the hotel toiletries in each bathroom. Beds and pillows were crazy comfy! Carpet was stained due to previous pets/kids is to be understandable. Cleanliness wasn't the best, noticeable marks on dishwasher and food stains on the fridge. The tension shower rod in the primary kept falling down and wouldn't hold. I would also note to the housekeeping crew to place bath towels in the primary as I had to dry off with a hand towel since I assumed a bath towel would be there. Just a couple things to improve but this would not at all deter me from staying again. We saw SO MANY STARS!!!!

The location, view and spaciousness of the house are a 10/10. The house is in need of updating and needed a vacuuming when we arrived. There’s spots throughout on the carpet and we had to fix a few things while there, loose faucet handles, etc. Go with these expectations and it’ll be great.

House is in a beautiful location, but the smells and multiple stains on all of the carpets are truly disgusting. The kitchen cabinetry was greasy by the knobs. The corners in the house had collected dirt. The quality of the home is also poor with vinyl flooring where there isnt any carpeting. And the washer/dryer are ancient. It’s a pity because it’s set on a nice cliff above a rocky beach. In case you are wondering, it’s 62 steps down to the water. Beware. The driveway with its ruts are moguls. This is our 2nd stay with Vacasa this year. Both filthy.

We enjoyed the stunning views and serenity of being surrounded by nature. The home was spacious and comfortable. The mattresses were high quality and comfortable.The grill worked awesome. There was excellent water pressure in the showers. On site laundry was appreciated. The stairs to the beach are very sturdy and well maintained. The fire pit had comfortable seating. The check-in and out processes were seamless. Excellent Wi-Fi. It is a beautiful location and very peaceful.We would not book this house again for a few reasons. The driveway was extremely steep and the gravel had been rutted out from previous vehicles making the climb. We have an all wheel drive vehicle which made getting out manageable but it was a bit stressful.The carpets need to be professionally cleaned. There were numerous large stains in every room.When we arrived the beds had clean sheets but the floors hadn’t been vacuumed and there were crumbs and greasy spots on the kitchen counters. We tried using the vacuum on site but it smelled musty and didn’t pick up debris.The windows worked well and were nice to open to get fresh air but were very smudged with finger and face prints.There was a leak under the kitchen sink which made that area smell bad.

Great location, good communication Stained carpet through out house, the downstairs carpet smelled animal pee, oven did not work properly and ruined our meal and future meal plan. We had to go shopping again, clothes dryer did not work property and took 2 hours to dry a load, upstairs bathroom hot water did not work, coffe pot did not work butvthe staff replaced it the secomd day.

Beautiful view, very clean, quiet end of the island. However if you plan to cook; Cooking pans really need replacing and oven took 40 minutes to heat. Gas Grill needs replacement parts. But if you aren’t doing much cooking or grilling it’s a wonderful place to stay.

Gorgeous location in a high bank waterfront house. Not fancy, but was perfect for our family gathering. Bring your own spices and seasonings for the kitchen. Come here for peaceful seclusion- smile, you’re on Slowpez!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a family get together — our two dogs even came too. The spot is very peaceful and beautiful with a spectacular view out to the bay and a huge deck. Lots of room for everyone and beautiful views out every window. The vibe is of a place that is a little well worn and well loved, which felt just right for us. Kitchen was supplied well enough for our needs and the living room was a super comfortable gathering area. We were disappointed not to be able to have a fire in the fireplace inside for a winter stay, as it was too cold and wet to be able to use the nice fire ring out in the garden. But all in all a great stay and we would love to return!

We had a great stay! House was a little dated and the yard could use some TLC but all the appliances worked good and we had a great time exploring the island. Everything was clean and we loved exploring the beach at low tide. The stairs down to the beach are steep and very slippery when wet, one of us slipped even being careful, so watch your step! Overall great stay and we definitely go back

The location was beautiful. Bring bug spray if you want to spend time outside here - lots of mosquitoes. They have pots and pans and dishes but no spices or cooking spray or anything else you might need beyond the kitchen tools.There was a load of laundry in the dryer, ants on the basement bathroom floor, and we had to wash most of our dishes before we used them. The home and area around the home could use some TLC, but the views were incredible and we enjoyed our time sitting on the deck.

This is an older home, but has absolutely beautiful views of the water. We loved the stairs that gave us easy access down to the water. The only thing we were disappointed in was the lack of basic ingredients in the kitchen (salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea). Overall, it was a nice getaway!

We had a wonderful stay. We had our family and dog and found the home to be perfect for our group. The kitchen was large and allowed for our friends to join us and cook together for the holidays. The beds were comfortable and the living room area was large and comfortable for a group gathering. The location was spectacular with beautiful views. The full moon on the bay was gorgeous. We can’t wait to come back!!!

This was a great house to relax and watch bald eagles from the deck. Our family of grandparents, parents, and kids enjoyed the week which felt very private. There are a few maintenance and repair items that could make the property more comfortable, but nothing was a deal breaker. We preferred to drive to other beaches because the steps and rocks in Mud Bay were a bit much for some people.

Overall disappointing stay. Check in process was great, Vacasa over communicates and sends good detail, however if they put the same level of effort into maintaining the house, it would be a great stay. The house is lacking the proper love and care a home of this caliber deserves. There are issues with simple things like the toilet seats not being bolted down, shower head spraying the ceiling, loose handles etc etc. The furniture in this house is subpar and isn’t conducive for exterior enjoyment. Home needs a deep clean. The house needs a full overhaul. The grass in the back is too high and yard in general is unkempt. If you’re showing up to this place with a tiny front wheel drive car, you could have issues getting back to the road, an SUV or AWD vehicle with sufficient power is a must to get in and out of here. The views and water access are unmatched and help the house redeem its other lacking inefficiencies. As a lover of unique properties, I was left heartbroken for the house. Also- if you go to the island anytime other than Fri-Sun, be prepared for the shops/restaurants to be closed.

We had a great stay. Comfortable home. Missed needing to bring our own hairdryers. The dryer didn’t work, took work to clean out the lint filter to get it to run and didn’t dry well when it finally started. Outside of that it was a nice home and we enjoyed our stay.

Pro - The home was spacious and the view was exceptional. The furnishings were nice and the beds were comfortable. Appreciated the shampoo and conditioner in bathroom and plentiful pots, pans, bowls and plates in the kitchen. Eagle watching was amazing. Highly recommend doing a hike around Shark Reef and kayaking. We had an amazing seal encounter just out paddling around with our family. Con - there was an issue with cleaning which delayed us getting in to the rental in time which resulted in a credit. The fridge wasn’t cleaned and the bathroom floor was dirty. Explicit instructions for operating the tv/internet are needed. We didn’t have it the first night but unplugged everything and it reset the following day. The yard needs to be mowed and the back covered deck area needs to be cleaned. It’s got an overgrown appearance which doesn’t match the beautiful home. We would come back again.

The overall house had all necessary things, accommodations and beautiful views. But it was very disappointing to come in and the dishwasher was full, wasn’t clear if it was clean or dirty dishes. So we ran it and unloaded it. The washer and dryer each had a load in them. There was also a load piled on top of the washer that were slightly folded and damp. We weren’t sure what was clean or dirty so we washed all of it, dried them and folded them. There was cleaning soap left on the bathroom counter downstairs, was not hand soap. The shower curtain in the main bathroom had black mold on one corner. The propane for the oven/stove ran out on us in the middle of cooking dinner the first night, and we had to use the bbq propane to power up the stove/oven again. The oven/stove continued to short out each meal. After assessing the propane tank, we found a leak in elbow of the line, after the regulator. I am looking forward to receiving a refund of the cleaning fee as was promised from Jake in multiple discussions during our stay. Thank you.

The house was easy to find and exactly as presented online. The deck and outdoor table were a bonus but remember to bring your mosquito repellent!!! The beds were comfortable and the views were amazing. The kitchen could use a few more basics (complete measuring cup set and more kitchen towels) but otherwise well appointed. The best part of our stay was seeing the wildlife- bald eagles, harbor seals and pups plus bioluminescence in the bay at night. It was really amazing and worth the run through the mosquitos to get there.

Nice large house overlooking mud bay. Large deck with table for dining with a great view! Stairs to water made fun exploring of the beach. The house could have been cleaner - wiping out drawers and wiping laundry room. We had a great time with our kids and grandkids. Thanks!

We loved our stay on Lopez island! The location was utterly serene and gorgeous. I loved the beautiful landscaping and aromatic culinary herbs all over the property, as well as the access to a bayside beach. (As a heads up— The beach is down 3-4 flights of stairs, and there is sometimes scat on the stairs due to visiting wildlife.) The house was comfortable as well, though the kitchen furnishings were sparse and I’d plan to bring any unusual tools if you’re doing a lot of cooking. The fire pit is fantastic. While staying at the property we saw otter and mink in the backyard—really cool!
