Exactly what I wanted for our weeklong stay--quiet, reasonably private, beach access and great views

The location is exactly what I expected--very quiet, reasonably private, and great views. I've been to Lopez several dozen times in the past 20 years, and chose this location on Mud Bay intentionally. Kitchen equipment was better than I commonly find at rentals. Still, I'm glad I brought my cast iron pan and knife sharpener.

The bathroom plumbing fixtures need repair or replacement. The kitchen feels a bit crowded so requires some adjustment. I'm not sure if the carpets ever get steam cleaned, but fewer stains would be nice. I also would have liked to arrive with the front, back, and basement porches free of debris. It was hard not to track things into the house, yet there's signage and threat of fines for not taking off shoes.

Beautiful views; sad house.

The view is wonderful The couch for 4 was very comfy and 2 of the beds also. The washer and dryer worked well.

It seems like the house is unloved and deteriorating. The master suite toilet never worked. There was a broken lamp in the living room. The Murphy bed in the second upstairs bedroom was uncomfortable and loudly squeaky. Dishes had to be inspected and often washed before use. A chair in the kitchen had a ripped seat. There were no food basics in the kitchen: bring everything, including salt and pepper. Plug-ins sometimes did not work; numerous bulbs burned out. The outdoor lights along the path to the fire pit never worked. The worst was probably the front door. The ten digit code for the Schlag lock rarely worked. We never typed it carefully less than 4 times to gain entry. The record was over twenty times. We were never able to get the key safe to open. There were no instructions about the house or information about the island. There were a few notes on cards laid about in the house. The fireplace inside the house was not to be used. It was a sad visit. It is a beautiful location with wonderful but it is unloved and not cared for.

Lovely location. Pictures made driveway look flat but not reality

View spacious 2 floors

Upstairs showers did not work😌 Drive way too steep and not paved so quite dangerous our car skidded in low gear had to walk everything up the hill and load car there
