Amazing views but falling apart

I travel a lot and this is the house with the best views I have stayed at. And that’s because it was really cheap compared to other waterfront houses nationwide. The beds were comfortable, and we really appreciated that it was dog friendly.

The house needs a lot of renovations and a deep cleaning. The downstairs shower head is all wonky. The windows and walls are dirty and so are the inside of all the kitchen drawers. We had to wash all the dishes before we could use them. Some dishes in the cupboards were clearly unwashed. All the frying pans are scratched to highly cancerous levels and should be discarded and replaced asap. The deck sliding door needs to be greased or just replaced. The wood fences around the house are falling down. If all this was addressed, this would be a 5 star place! But according to the reviews from all precious years, this does not seem to be in the owners’ plans.

We love the location and the house is awesome, and being next to the water is the best.

The location was awesome. Our family has stayed at this house twice, and it is perfect. Our son brings his boat, and having the pier adjacent, is awesome. He does anchor it during the night, since there is no moorage at night. Being right on the water is amazing, and the house is big, and we always bring our 2 grand sons, and they are very entertained. We are always glad to play monopoly, which is always there.

Only thing I didnt like was the deck was a bit funky. but the house was awesome.

Relaxing weekend getaway!

We liked the location of the property & the view

A missing drawer below the stovetop, that had a screw sticking straight up. A few electrical things: A broken lamp in the living area. Uncovered or broken outlet covers.

I love it’s location.

some of the stuff is old and in disrepair. we couldn’t use the gas stove and one of the drawer facades feel off in the kitchen and hit me in the toe.

Million dollar view. Right on the water. It was a house that we could bring our dog to.

It was dirty. My husband washed all the dishes we used before we could use them. Buggers and blood on the walls in the downstairs bedroom. H scrubbed the door in the bathroom and around light switch and the cloth was filthy So much for Covid clean. We left the cobwebs for someone else.

Comfy home, great view, no wifi

Great view, great access to the water. We were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked.

The emails implied that there would be wifi. There was not. This was a big problem for us and the fact that there was almost no phone service compounded this. I think it is only fair to warn people of something this problematic.

ENJOYABLE GET AWAY MUST BE AWESOME IN SUMMER MONTHS

LOCATION AND VIEW WAS STUNNING. VERY SPACIOUS. KITCHEN WAS STOCKED WELL. GOOD SUPPLY HOT WATER FOR SHOWERS. OWNERS GAVE GREAT DIRECTIONS TO PROPERTY

TO BE REALLY PET FRIENDLY AS ADVERTISED THE BACK YARD SHOULD BE FULLY FENCED IN TO FEEL SECURE WITH PETS OFF LEASH. COMFORT LEVEL OF HOME COULD HAVE BEEN APPROVED IF THERMOSTAT HEAT HAD BEEN TURNED UP PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL. TOOK AWHILE TO GET HOME HEATED TO COMFORTABLE TEMP. SEVERAL LIGHT BULBS OUT AND SMALL MUSIC SYSTEM NOT WORKING. LIMITED SELECTION DVD FOR ADULTS TO VIEW BUT GREAT FOR KIDS.

The house was surface clean but not as clean as one would want. The kitchen could use more lids for pans, and glasses.
