The perfect blend of nature, comfort, and quiet.

This was probably one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, the property felt calm, thoughtful, and intentional. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, with space to wander. The location is perfect—close enough to Mendocino and Fort Bragg to explore, but far enough away that it feels tucked into its own little world. We did some nearby trails and beach walks, then came back and actually rested, which says a lot. Highly recommend staying here!

We paid top dollar and didn't get the quality stay you would expect for the price.

Location to Mendocino and trails was great.

There was mold on the interior of the door leading out to the deck and windows. Poor ventilation in bathroom and floors and surfaces getting wet from the steam. For the price, breakfast was meager.

Beautiful property, wonderful stay.

We had a great stay! Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great view. The llamas are adorable, a definite highlight. The property is gorgeous and the staff are friendly. Check in was very easy and the designated parking spot was a nice touch. Breakfast being delivered to the room was lovely and the homemade cookies available at the front desk made for a perfect late night treat. All around this hotel was wonderful and I’d absolutely stay again! Highly recommend.

Not staying again or recommending. It was very hot and they had horribly loud fans, one of which didn’t really work.

Room was not available at checkin time. In fact, I mentioned we were traveling with young children and would appreciate an early checkin. Forget delivering on that, they gave room keys 45 min late. The restaurant looked pretty uninviting.

THE BATHROOM IS TOO SMALL, HARD TO FIND AT NIGHT, ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE IS NO SIGNAL, THERE IS TOO LITTLE FOOD FOR BREAKFAST.

Noise from next door neighbors and upstairs neighbors. The noise from breakfast being delivered to the other folks. The way to select the breakfast was a bit confusing. I thought I picked orange juice but I hadn’t so that was disappointing

Treat yourself to this wonderful place!

Stayed in one of the rooms of the Four Quarters. Lovely space, exceptionally well appointed. The owner and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. No problem whatsoever adjusting my morning breakfasts (delivered to my door) to my vegan diet. Their ethos of eco responsibility was so refreshing. Had a lovely, 15-20 minute trail walk to a beautiful coastal view.

Highly recommend!

Had a great stay and highly recommend this property for anyone heading to Mendocino! Rooms were inviting, large, and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and delivered to your room daily. Our room was a little warm from all the sunlight and windows but there was a fan provided that cooled the room down well.

It’s fun living in SCP Mendocino Inn and Farm, cute and friendly Llamas and hyper hens living on site. The staffs are nice and helpful. Great location, it’s 10 mins drive to Mendocino Headlands.

Romantic and relaxing stay in Mendocino

Our room was very clean, comfortable and had a view of the ocean and llamas. It was especially lovely to sit by the window and enjoy the delicious, daily breakfast delivered to the room. We were provided fresh wood and supplies to make a fire each evening and enjoy a glass of wine. The grounds were also well maintained and we enjoyed exploring and feeding the chickens. They also just opened an on site restaurant that serves delicious pizza! We can't wait to come back again!

Location…friendliness….and love of nature and animals!

Lighting the fireplace…the logs were challenging. We suggest the Duraflame logs or drier wood. The breakfast were over-complicated…eggs (overcooked) and pesto for breakfast is too much! No need for sweet muffins or dessert - give us some toast & butter, plain poached eggs, coffee and juice any day! Disappointed that the daily wine tasting - promised when we booked and in the confirmation email - was not honored…..

Surrounded by beautiful nature and silence. No TV in the room is a great idea.Loved the fireplace and the ocean partial view. Great quality essential oil infused soaps and very comfortable bed, linings and robes. Assigned parking and everything was relaxing and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the coffee, gluten free options, delicious pastry and how it was all served in the room. The eggs had garlic in them ( would prefer sunny side up or boiled egg options since they come from the chicken raised on the property) and the fruits could have a little more variety. The fresh squeezed orange juice made up for it. The wine bottle advertised online was discontinued.

Quaint little inn, tucked into nature's corner with beautiful hikes and forests to explore.

The inn was very quaint and cute. Their breakfast is very well presented in a basket, however, the quantity is very less for an adult. The location is amazing - we were able to drive to all the local attractions pretty easily. The best part for me was the llama experience-you truly feel connected with nature.

There is no internet connection and the wifi is fairly slow. There is no room service or cleaning, even for more than a night's stay. As a result, towels, sheets are not changed during your stay which is not the best experience, especially if you plan to hike and then take a bath.
