Balcony side jacuzzi. Microwave a meal in 15 seconds flat. Staff though "un present" in regards to my inquiry on my accommodation request prior to my stay

Not sure where to begin. I have stayed on two other occasions along with my sister. This day was everything but joy is to begin with as it was the first birthday after my spouse has passed. I definitely came with an intention on claiming a certain room- or a certain level of privacy on a higher level floor for obvious reasons. I was told the second floor would be finishing Renovations by the time my stay came and my request for room 206 was "noted in my file" It was stated in message correspondence through booking.com that if they couldn't get me that room they would get me the closest to which I replied no I would want a higher level floor in that case. I had also messaged separately inquiring about luggage carts stating all of the important items that I was bringing with me for this event and assured that carts were available the first thing I noticed when I arrived was that they already slim parking in front it was of course gone by 3:45 p.m. Sharp. And the Parkade was blocked off but nobody was parked in there except for one car causing me to have to park up front on top of a hill in a pretty sketchy Parkade area that didn't seem to have any surveillance. So I requested to pull up front unload my belongings and leave them in the lobby. Which already left me feeling naked and exposed based on what I was bringing but this is okay I was coming alone. The second thing that I noticed besides I was exhausting walking up and downhill, was that the lobby was obviously going through Renovations and the one sofa they did have present was facing the wall and pushed up against the wall. No seating and that was okay it is what it is took me about 10 minutes for the couple in front of me to get checked in for my turn to come.

Beachfront, luxurious.

Lobby under renovation, no coffee available, staff a little cold, could be more welcoming.

Staff was exceptional Nd a le to answer phone call to e plain things.

The view, the very comfortable bed, the lovely house oats and a. Amazing jacuzzi tub

Ocean view from jacuzzi tub and balcony. The bed was comfortable. Double-headed shower with excellent water pressure and temperature control. A spacious room featuring a King-Size bed and other amenities. The fireplace was a very nice touch.

In-room services. Television showed an on-demand option, but it wasn't available.

It was close to everything and clean

The power didn’t work and we ordered the hot tub room and none of the lights worked in room also the fireplace.

The bed was nice and the room was really cute. The shower was nice, too. My husband brought rose petals and the cutest gift basket that made it look so fun.

Sadly, we got the room for the view of the waves and there's a hedge that blocks the view so you can only see the waves if you are standing up. The jets on the whirlpool were poor so I had to turn them off. I was excited about the fire but there was no instructions on how to use it. Turns out its tied to the thermostat so it doesnt kick on unless the thermostat is set to 5 degrees above the current temp. Then it turns off when it reaches temp so in order to enjoy the fireplace, it was either boiling in the room or we had to leave the door open. Lastly, the pillows are so cheap. They were miserable to sleep on. Bring your own pillow !!

The rooms were beautiful

The rooms were so dirty that if you walked barefoot on the floor your feet would turn black. I payed extra for a room with a tub and a view but then got put on the first floor where I couldn’t even enjoy a view . My view was bushes unless I went outside.
