Cozy vibes only!

Shirley was an excellent host. She showed us our room and ensured we were happy with it prior to charging us for the stay. The main common area and rooms have thoughtfully placed trinkets, with decor that tells a story. The room we stayed in was on the upper floor. It featured both a private entrance and direct stairwell to the common area. Coffee maker, tea, and popcorn were available to us in our room as well as a small fridge. We could see the ocean from the huge window. We sat in the comfy chairs in front of the window, sipping our morning brew with one of the two room heaters going. The king sized bed was extremely comfy, I hadn't slept that good in another bed in a long time, and the pillows were nice and fluffy. The room was clean, and there were toiletries and soft towels provided. The breakfast Shirley made for us was incredible, note that the recipes were her late husbands, which made the experience more special. Hearing her stories and experiences, you can tell she has put a lot of effort and love into their Bed and Breakfast. Nothing beats the view from the dining room. We will definitely be back!

The room can get a bit cold, but this can be avoided if you turn on the smaller heater to medium before bed its a workhorse. This isn't a negative necessarily, but more of a tip to those who enjoy a warmer room!

Mixed blessings

The decor was beautiful, and the very welcoming hostess over-extended herself to help with our future plans. The homemade toppings for the German pancakes were especially delicious, as was the B&B's special traditional treat at the end of breakfast. The downstairs rooms shared a large kitchen and living room, which was helpful for us as we ate out of our ice chest food for dinner when we returned late to the B&B that evening, after photographing the sights in the next section to the south as the sun went down, to make up time we would spend on construction delays.

The problems specific to me were the bed was very high and to go to the large, luxuriously appointed bathroom had steps, which makes getting up in the night problematic. We did handle those problems well; however. Only a small number of people would be concerned about the heavily-perfumed and softener-treated sheets and towels that were an especial concern for my health. Many hotels nowadays are using unscented laundry detergents and no softener on laundry, because of the health hazards. Those would prevent us from returning again, which others that night have done repeatedly for years due to the lovely aspects.

We have stayed here multiple times and it's always a treat! Looking forward to our next visit and already can't wait to be back! Food was delicious, bed was comfortable, beach access perfect. The only place we stay at when we visit Lincoln City!

A true bed and breakfast experience with Shirley as an incredible host!

Personable, homey, and very well priced for such an amazing location.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the location could not have been better. Shirley was a superb host, checking in with us before check-in to ensure we arrived safely and efficiently, and providing us with top-notch recommendations for things to do and places to eat, etc. Shirley is a very kind, outgoing, and personable host. If you prefer a more hands-off experience, this might not be the best place. However, if you're okay with a more personable experience, Shirley will make you feel right at home.

This is a rather silly complaint, but the coffee was extremely watered down. Probably just the way Shirley prefers it, but it wasn't great haha.

Pleasant Stay.

Lots of space in my room and the bathroom was huge! The breakfast was different but really good. The host was so delightful and very attentive. The view from my bedroom was nice.

cozy beach front getaway

the home made breakfast was AMAZING, along with the view you get along with it. the host is the absolute sweetest, and the rooms are cute and cozy, perfect for a weekend away. beach access is practically right across the street, casino less than a 2 minute drive away.

Beautiful accommodations with a wonderful hostess in view.

We had the entire lower portion of the house to ourselves and it was very large, including the bathroom. Plus, it had a pool table in our room. We could see the ocean from our room and was only a block from the beach. The hostess was just wonderful and her breakfast the next morning was very delicious. Served in a beautiful sun room overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Even though that we had our own entrance, it was quite a haul to bring up our belongings.

It was an awesome breakfast! The home made pancakes, syrup, fresh fruits, turkey sausages filled me up! The dining room is like a five star hotel! It was a wonderful accommodation!

Shirley has a great place to stay. Safe area, clean and comfortable and food to die for.

The breakfast was so good, I was stuffed. Fresh Fruit, Juice, Coffee, German Pancakes, Home made butter and syrup, and to top it off dessert. All very good. Our room was nice and comfortable. It was very clean. It is in walking distance from the casino too.

Shirley, the owner, was kind, friendly, and welcoming; she also had lots of good recommendations. She made us the most delicious breakfast! The homemade jams and cheesecake were so yummy. She also provided coffee and drinks in our room. We had an ocean view from our side window.

The only improvement would be to update the flooring and decor. It was cozy but dated.

Had a very nice visit and met some really nice people.

I really enjoyed our host, Shirley. Extremely friendly. She was GREAT!! She got the coffee ready for you to just turn on in the morning, she put drinks in the refrigerator, had popcorn in the room in case you wanted it. Lots of little things. And the breakfasts she prepared was exceptional!

No TV in the living room area. I had to be in the bedroom to watch TV. The home was a little older than I expected, but very neat and clean.

Exceptional

This is the best B&B I have ever been to. Shirley is super friendly and helpful, probably also the best host one can find :) Amazing view from the window! Two minutes walk to the each! And above all, I absolutely LOVE the decor of the place-it feels like a luxury room on a ship in with all the coast and antique style decor. The touring around the house itself makes me very happy. I am looking forward to going back!!

Warmest stay ever

Shirley is incredible! She cooks a delicious breakfast and is an unbelievable welcoming host. Room was comfortabel, with own kitchen, bathroom and even pooltable. :-) Very close to beach, calm neighbourhood. Home away from home
