First if all we were in Mississippi and ask for a B and B in Greenville, Mississippi. The Pepin Mansion came up. Without information on what city it was in. I clicked on it and then the information came up, it wasn’t even in Mississippi it was in another state altogether. This was our anniversary trip. Which was ruined. Could not get any help from the B and B or Booking. Com

Enjoyed talking to the other guests at breakfast and also Ryan the property manager was very helpful and communicative! We were able to walk to the fireworks and a concert on the waterfront (4th of July). Easy, free parking.

Nice place, very good breakfast, cool setting.
Our bathroom was down a long flight of stairs and that wasn’t clear from the listing.

I loved the property. The house was beautiful! It was built in the mid 1800’s and could use a little work but overall, the accommodations were great! The breakfast was phenomenal! I loved the food and the hospitality from Taylor (the innkeeper). I would have preferred a more private setting, maybe individual tables instead of the main dining table for breakfast, but overall it was amazing. I really loved the Pepin suite with the high ceilings and very ornate furniture.
I stayed in one of the four rooms that didn’t have an attached bathroom. I knew this going in, so wasn’t a big deal. I would have liked a little more privacy with an attached bathroom because it was a bit of a headache to have to get dressed and go downstairs each time I needed to use the restroom. I also noticed that the property needed a few repairs including the ceiling above the reception area and also the painting/wallpaper in the private bath. But those details are expected from a historic building. I would definitely stay here again (but in a room with an attached bath). I would also recommend a more private dining space. It was a little awkward to share a big table with people I’ve never met. While we had great conversation, I experienced a bit of anxiety being in a small town as an LGBT couple. My worries were rested once I realized all the other folks were accepting and friendly. Maybe have breakfast in the larger room with individual tables, I think that would have relaxed my “breakfast anxiety”. All in all, it was an amazing visit.

Loved the history of the B&B and all the decor!!!
Ryan our hostess was very welcoming and we enjoyed talking to him.
Bathrooms downstairs-but I understand it’s impossible to have upstairs due to the age of the home.

The host Ryan was excellent, and the morning breakfast was to die for with its overall taste and variety.
Had no issues with property.

I loved the meticulously renovated mansion and the furniture, tall ceilings and space. The breakfast set at the dining room table was a treat as Ive been travelling and really missed the well set tables and meals of home.
Nothing really except the inn keeper seemed to be in a rough patch, not in a great mood. I hope whatever is troubling her is resolved soon. She was professional. Just seemed off her game.

The location was great. We did not have breakfast because it was earlier than we wanted to get up. The mansion was beautiful and very authenticly decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was quiet, we never heard the other guests. The room was furnished nicely, with comfortable chairs to sit in. There was room to hang our clothes and a luggage rack.
In the morning sun, the dust under the large armoire was very noticable. However the rest of the room was clean and pleasant. When I booked it I didn't realize "private bath" was not attached. Apparently this is common in Bed and Breakfasts but I didn't realize it when I booked it. I didn't love going downstairs in the middle of the night, but thats not the fault of the Pepin Mansion.

breakfast was ok - very nice setting ! Taylor was very kind but seemed very busy and not overly friendly
My fault but had no idea suite 1 had no bathroom attached- To me that room should be discounted for that reason- floor was dusty -popcorn on floor - and floor fan had dust and webs on it - just not tidy

Beautiful property. Loved walking down “mansion row.”. Employees were very nice and accommodating. The room was roomy, clean, and comfortable.
Our breakfast was canceled. you would think at a Bed and “Breakfast” that some accommodation would be made if one was unable to cook breakfast- maybe a continental breakfast with at least muffins. As it happened, we went out to a local restaurant to eat breakfast, which added another $30 to our stay. (Ww recommend Toast on Market as an excellent place for brunch.)

Love old mansions and this one was very nice! It is located next door to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and I was attending an event there. Excellent breakfast, and fun to meet other guests at breakfast.
The steps were a bit challenging.
Ron, the owner, was very friendly and helpful.

Sharon was a great host and an amazing chef! That was an extra bonus! She made the experience very friendly - and we ate like kings and queens!
Maybe a choice on the breakfast.

Everything about the mansion was wonderful! The staff was great, the smell of bacon cooking in the morning and the coffee was amazing. Will definitely return for another stay.

History of the mansion.
The location of the bathroom. We were on the second floor which was fine. Our private bath room was detached but on the FIRST floor. I don't mind across the hall or a couple doors down the hall, BUT 2 flight of steps to the first floor is totally unacceptable. This should have been noted when booking through Bookings.com. If I had known this, I would have selected something different. Most likely another property. We ended up in a very nice Best Western in Lexington,KY. I think they should refund our money as it's very deceptive. The pictures show a full bath and it describes it as "detached full bath". Nowhere does it say or imply that it's on a separate floor. That deserves a full refund as far as I'm concerned.

Beautiful property and our breakfast was simply fabulous! Rooms were lovely and our bed was exceptionally comfortable.
I inadvertently booked the suite without an attached bedroom which was inconvenient for us but we managed fine.

The mansion was awesome. I can’t imagine living in a place so elegant. Yet so comfortable. The room we
Stayed in was larger than some one bedroom apartment in NYC!! The neighborhood was quaint just like the mansion. I would highly recommend this property. Brian and his wife live there and are so very friendly, and accommodating. My only complaint was that I wish we stayed longer!
Not a thing!!!

One of our rooms had a private shower separate and downstairs which was quite difficult

Breakfast was awesome and owner very polite and tried to accommodate my requests. Sadly I got the last room and I didn’t have a in-room private bathroom. The bathroom was private but was one floor downstairs.not big deal if you don’t need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night
