Bring pillows and house slippers - very cold floors

The staff was very pleasant. The bed was extremely comfortable, with the exception of the pillows. The room was very clean but no tissues, and only one garbage can. Also, and very quiet hotel, which was very nice

The bathroom was SO COLD the floor was painful to our feet and we weren't able to shower because of the cold. We actually had to take all the towels and put them on the floor so we could use the facilities during the night Also, the heater was very loud.

Cheap, old, and dirty. Not up to Holiday Inn Standards. Amazing staff.

It was not as expensive as Louisville but comparable to the others close by. The staff was amazing! Housekeeping staff was the sweetest! Breakfast was good.

It was old, small, not the cleanest. Beds were clean and comfy but lots of hair and dust in corners, missing paint throughout hotel, furniture old and raggedy, needs updated badly, the indoor pool is not heated; it was so cold we couldn’t swim and we woke up Sunday to a sign closed by health department after our kids jumped in 😪 the area is not the best by any means. Room needed deep clean. Stains in toilet hair and garbage under bed. I’m so confused on all these good reviews. I wanted to leave as soon as we got there but couldn’t get a refund.

Location

Cleanliness of the items in the room. Shade would not lower and my room was under a light. Called twice to tell staff I would be a late check in and never got another to answer the phone. Happened last year when I stayed in same hotel. For the price I would have thought Holiday Inn had better standards.

Pool was closed. Would not of booked at this location if I would have known pool would be closed. Grandson stayed with friends that stayed at another hotel Fairfield Inn because their pool was open. So we were unable to have family time we planned for because pool was not open

Don’t recommend at all

The room was absolutely disgusting. Smelled horrible like mildew and weed. The pool was NASTY. So cloudy you couldn’t see your own feet. Chunks floating everywhere. Smelled like an old dirty fish tank. The elevator kept getting stuck and making a loud boom.

The over all stay is always good at Holiday Inn Express Hotels. The breakfast is okay,like the Fove products, thoughtful things like travel iron board and iron in room,

Lightening too dark need more light and closet space too short but would not stop me from booking .

Great location. Central to shopping and restaurants.

The lady that take care of breakfast is AWESOME. She made sure everything was working and kept replenishing whatever had ran out. Very friendly.

We were put in room 332. The room was ok accept for the bathroom mirror covered the plugs which was odd. I could not use my curling irons to do my hair. That needs to change. The air conditioning unit is loud, that was not good in the middle of night. We stayed back in May and to switch rooms because the shade fell down so they moved us to another room and that room was good. So maybe next time, I will request that room.

Good place to stay in New Albany

We have been staying at this hotel since its been in business. We really like staying there because of its location. The beds are very comfortable.

We were put in Room 225 which was clean and very nice but the overhead fan in the bathroom was very loud and bathtub was dripping water. Since these are small repairs, I hope they will be fixed. We will stay there again.

Great place to stay for a weekend in Louisville

Easiest check-in ever, great breakfast options, walking distance to great food and the Saturday farmers market, great value for money.

Only downsides were that there was only one elevator and the pool was kinda small.

Very comfortable stay in a hotel in a great location for why we travelled to Louisville.

The location was perfect for getting in and out of Louisville for our granddaughter’s volleyball tournament. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A bit old without extra features like a bar or restaurant. Also, no charging station for electric vehicles.

My experience at Holiday Inn

It's a nice hotel. I only have to complain about 1 thing and that was because of the room I was put in, the door batteries were low or something and i had to have keys made several times and I couldnt just open it. I actually was bruised all on my hip where I would have to hit it with my hip for the door to open.

Overall great experience

The beds were SO COMFY. Breakfast was delicious, even though the pancake machine wasn't working. But that happens, and the staff tried to help! I had children with me and they placed us around other children, which I like because I'm always super nervous we will disrupt someone's stay that doesn't understand children. The location was amazing- we were staying to attend a softball tournament. It was less than 10 minutes away from the field.

The only complaint I have is the pool was a little green and the fridge didn't work.
