Shocked to find the Candlewood had a 2 star. We had a pleasant stay. Thank you.

No breakfast, however the fruit and 24 hour service was a nice choice. Nice bed. The front desk person was very nice, and the check-in and out was swift!

TV placement had obstructed views from the bed. The sound was very low.

The front desk service was top notch. Very friendly and welcoming.

The first floor room had a musty smell. The glade plug ins masked the smell a bit but a humidifier is needed.

The air conditioner was making a very high pitch noise when it would turn on. The shower pressure was non-existent.

Comfy bed close to the highway

Perfectly functional room with comfy bed and decent shower. The room had a small kitchen which was appreciated although no cutlery or crockery was provided. However, we were able to borrow some items from the reception which was a thoughtful touch.

Reception and corridors a bit 'institutional' in feel although that is not an issue once you get to your room.

Musty smell in hallway and slightly in room. Transition from bath to shower nozzle was not fully functional, but management was appreciative to know this at checkout.

Beyond expectations

The staff was incredible. I booked through a 3rd party site for the 1st night. When I booked a 2nd night the desk staff informed she could provide a better rate directly through the hotel. It is very refreshing to see someone want to provide the best for their guest.

Would have preferred a traditional continental breakfast but the prices of the a la carte items was very affordable.
